Just wondering, what happened to YouTube embeds? @Nate
If they’re too expensive or something then please don’t pay something crazy to bring them back. I was just curious if that was, in fact, the case.

Testing some old bbcode tags that used to work…

Hey, 3 out of 4 ain’t bad, even if you can still see the code.
I think the problem is when you try to share them from your phone. If you copy the url and share from your computer, it works.
Interesting. I’m having the problem when doing it from my phone. I don’t remember if it works for me on the computer or not but I’ll have to try it.
If you need someone from Michigan to help you let me know.
I think it has something to do with whether the link is “clean” or not.
On my computer, if I right-click on a video and select “copy link address” I get the “http://youtube.com/watch?v=” nomenclature, with the video ID after the v=, which is then followed by a pp= argument. If I select “clean link” then the pp= argument is omitted. On my phone, “clean link” isn’t an option – instead, there’s a Share button. The link produced here has an “si=” argument.
These additional arguments are tracking parameters added by YouTube so they can track who and where such links were generated from. I suspect the forum’s embedding can’t parse/handle these tracking parameters.
It used to work through my iPhone every time. Now YouTube and TikTok links never imbed correctly. @BigNatty ’s last known follicle must’ve clogged up the equipment.
Stop talkin about my pubes, bro

I guess we will have to stick with gifs over videos!

If I’m going to floss with them, I should be able to talk about them.
