He has. 3 qb hits and half a sack. Been getting lots of pressure in both games

Apparently, Smith had little to no impact.

Smith has had an impact. There was a key play yesterday where Smith chased the RB down the line and made a big tackle. Our defense stretched the run out to the right sideline as they were supposed to, and just when it looked like a crease was opening, Smith had chased Taylor down coming across from LDE. That was very impressive pursuit.
Smith helped us get pressures on Richardson with only 4 guys rushing. That was missing pre-Smith. Richardson is not a polished passer obviously, but some of his missed throws were because the Lions were getting free and because he was hearing footsteps from previous plays. We got him to accelerate his clock, and that’s how a pass rush impacts a QB just as much as a sack.

He’s a situational player who is the kind of player you bring in when you have hutch as your horse. He will make a bit of an impact but he is not a saviour

That alim grade is way too low, what did they grade campbell at? I felt he was all over the field tipping passes etc

He ran over multiple guards yesterday. He does that on the regular, might be the most underrated guy in the NFL. His impact goes way beyond just pure sack numbers, WAY beyond

Throw in Reader and we have a legit DT combo inside. Gotta be top 5 in the nfl. Reader had a couple hits on Richardson yesterday too. Hutch was gonna get 20 sacks this year easy with them pushing the pocket inside.
Easily top 5 in the NFL. McNeill is an incredible talent. He does everything well.
