I’d say most FA deals are terrible.
Damn, I really hoped we would be able to keep him. As of now I would think that means Glasgow shifts to RG and Mahogany starts at LG. Glasgow is definitely better on the right side, but man he struggled last year. They need to have a solid plan in case it was physical decline as much as playing out of position.
You ain’t wrong.
Whats left?
Yeah, and they can draft a kid in the 3rd round and pay him peanuts while signing their own guys. If they pick the right prospect, they make out like bandits.
Once Brad takes his finger out of Colvin he will plug that hole.
Probably a draft pick to compete with the vets. Despite the obsession with BroMart not panning out Brad has actually been brilliant in the middle rounds.
The Draft which was always where our Edge was coming from
Jeebus.
I’m about to call you Cornholio.
Definitely disappointed, bringing Zietler back just made so much sense. Chemistry, gives Manu another year, and we could update our depth with Glasgow backing up all three on the interior.
Colvin made his own bed. I don’t author sodomy posts I just reference them.
Who am I kidding? I’m sure I’ve authored a sodomy post or two.
Manu plays tackle, so I’m not really sure this means anything for Manu or his development.
Same!
Just kidding bro
I think there’s a world where Manu ends up at OG, but not until he fails at T first and that won’t be happening any time soon.
Were ok we kinda fixed at DT now
We’ll find out soon. Does Reader renegotiate his contract or is Brad fine with him or does Brad cut him so he can see what other teams will offer him? That roster bonus is significant and coming up soon.
Another possibility is that I’m totally misreading reality again. LOL
We are not fixed at DT until Brad drafts a future all pro in the second round next month.
He signed here last year so unless you’re privy to something that changed with his family situation I don’t understand how that all of a sudden became his prime motivation to be closer to home.
In addition to it being in the report, he was considering retirement this year. Had the lions won jt all he would have called it a career. Instead henis gonna play 1 more year, near family, and make 3 million more then what he made in Detroit who has mahagony waiting to dominate and Glasgow who should be fully healed from his season long knee injury. Plus this draft sucks everywhere but not in the trenches…so 9 million is an overpay w all that info for context.

Ya know, it wouldn’t be surprising with so many shiny DT objects in this draft.
