Weird night, folks. Lions dipping deep into the talent pool in the 1st round.
They clearly have priorities that trump the positional limitations some of us might have assigned to them.

@Cap we just drafted a 1st round LB, I’m shocked myself, but if they believed in Barnes that would never happen man. I think it also tells us Rodrigo is more of a special teamer.

who is also not employed by an NFL team.
I like him…. but he is 1 guy…. and there are 32 teams employing a team full of scouts that have more access to teams, players, and info.
We can all express out opinion… and find guys we like with mock drafts… but that doesn’t make the team scouting departments wrong.

That’s your opinion, everybody has one, I don’t see Jack Campbell beating out Barnes, he runs a 4.65 40 yd and did not bench press, so I’m not worried. Time will tell
