2024 Draft Crush Thread

I like Frazier as a center but not so much as an OG. He looks much better when he is moving forward and firing out to the 2nd level. I think he lacks a good anchor against bigger DTs that can push the pocket. Even in the highlight reel there you can see it when he takes a few snaps against Sweat. He has no problem staying with the block in the run game but Sweat moves him back pretty fast in the pass set.

Admittedly i am biased, but i do believe the tape backs me up. Mike sainristil.

The video tape yes but the measuring tape not so much.

One of the best football players i seen this year was Wisconsin Safety Hunter Wohler but he will be in next years draft. If anyone can find a highlight reel from him please post it. I’m not real good at that stuff but this kid is worth the watch for those who have not seen him.

He will fall because of measurables and then the Giants or Browns draft him.

Good, he will be there then when the lions draft in the 3rd. He is gooood.

I agree. Probably not quite as good on the outside but I think he’s got the athleticism and mentality to overcome. Not my first pick simply bc of fit but I’d be fine with it. Good player for sure.

Isn’t Sainristil a little redundant with Branch on the roster? Of 1375 snaps at Michigan, only 178 were with him lined up outside.

Yes. Different styles of slot players. Speed in the slot is an issue for Branch and power slots will give Mikey fits. So they would make an elite group in tandem. But that strikes me as too niche of a need.

If the Lions take Mike it’s bc they think he can work outside.

Yeah, I just don’t think you take Branch off the field. He’s too good to be platooned. I think Josh Wallace is a better fit for the Lions defense if you’re talking MICH DBs, but that’s just me.

I don’t think we should either. I just think corners with the right mentality can overcome size limitations on the outside.

Yeah im noy gonna die on any hill for a player. I just love how he made plays in big moments and think its impressive how well he transitioned from wr to corner. His charachter is off the charts.

I remember watching Mark McMillan in the 80s give outside WRs with 7 inches on him hell. It can be done.

What constitutes a ‘draft crush’? There are plenty of guys I like, but that list is way too long. What is ‘crush’ level?
