In all seriousness I wish we had Pegues as our NT2 to develop over BroMart.
But we are stuck with BigBM no way we give up on him yet and we have more pressing needs then to take another NT m
I think Pegues has the juice to play some 3T like McNeill. I mean he carried the ball like 70 times and scored 7 TDs. That’s no sluggish athlete.

I think Ivey can as well. Similar to how we were using Cominsky in 2022.
Oh for sure, I was throwing his name around in the other draft thread back in October, pretty clear fit for us.
BUT I think his best fit is as a 5T. Doesn’t have much of a first step which really affects his speed to power. Also when I watched full games I saw him taking more plays off than I wanted. That’s a big no-no for Brad.

I’m looking at Amos a lot for CB… I can’t help remember but loving Sanquez Golson a few years back and him

Yeah that’s the problem with forming our original takes off highlights, which I think most of us do. Digging a little deeper sometimes tells a different story.
I like Amos and I think he’ll be on our board. Good in press, good against the run. Can come in a little hot as a tackler, but I’d rather have to dial that back than the opposite.
That said, I like Azareye’h Thomas - who’s a similar player - even more. Best press man corner in the class. Now those of you who prefer playmaking will probably lean Amos (ahem, @CuriousHusker), but just cause Thomas has made a bunch of plays on the ball doesn’t mean he can’t. A bit like Christian Gonzalez and Ramsey. I’m not seeing a guy with bad hands or anything, he just doesn’t have a lot of picks.

Yeah I really only have access to what i watch over the year, the reruns (which really help because im not gambling on the games then lol), then it’s you guys and the highlights.

You’re right, I’ve gravely underrated the random apostrophe in the first name. Sneed, Ja’Marr Chase. T’Vondre Sweat, Ar’Darius Washington, Tre’Davious White, O’Cyrus Torrence. I’m not sure the random apostrophe has ever let us down.
Except when we do it: A’Shawn Robinson, D’Andre Swift. At least they’re still around.

You’d think I’d be higher on him after running into him like 4 times in my first two weeks on campus down here…and then with him transferring to Ohio State and winning a national championship.

He’d be on my early list along with Perkins, and Love. I have to watch more of the rest. Another guy who will almost assuredly be on mine is Fernando Mendoza. Can’t wait to see what he does at Indiana. The guy’s got the goods physically.
