also, i havent talked about it, but watching Noel so far at the All-star game… hes looked really really good, and he atleast started to show up last year, so he isnt a true one year wonder, along with Higgins
Really like both the Iowa State WR’s
I actually have Noel ranked higher than Higgins personally, I think he’s bringing a more unique skill set. He’s got some Tyler Scott to his game, though I hope he ends up being a better player. But I liked Scott coming out too.

Think Higgins might be higher on the Lions Board depending how FA shakes out.
Will need that X reciever, and Higgins fits well with us, but he does need to fix his blocking slightly
Oh yeah Higgins is a much better fit for us personally, I just think there’s a lot of guys like him who’ll be cheaper. Prather, Armstrong, Roc Taylor, Da’Quan Felton, maybe Pat Bryant, etc…
Yeah there is decent X’s in this draft for sure.

FA will really affect what we need in the draft this year, feels like more than any year.
All i know, were taking someone from Alabama in the first two days.
Idk who it is, but someone from Bama, too much precedence from Brad the past 3 years lol
Malachi Moore maybe? idk
We’ll love Que Robinson for sure, and might be able to get him in the 4th or so.
Jihaad Campbell fits us, but that will probably require our 1st, which seems a little too high. Maybe Moore lasts until our 3rd.

Knowing Brad, we would trade up for Moore i think if he falls into the 90’s (If we really ilike him)
prolly costs us next year 4th if i had to pressume.
I would say, that if Booker getting near top 10 stuff wasnt happening, feels like the free space on a bingo card for us at 28 lol

I’m not nearly as big a fan of his tape personally, though I tend to be lower on the Bama guys than most (I had Latham as a 2nd rounder last year). Just very difficult to figure out their OL… are they kicking ass because the talent around them is hiding their weaknesses? They’ve had a ton of mid-round OL busts, but a few guys who hit. I have the same issue with Georgia, LSU, etc…
I also prefer guards a little more athletic. I want them pulling and smashing dudes in the face, and that’s not his game. That said I’m not sure that’s what Brad or the rest of the brass wants, we have definitely drafted a couple of smash mouth guys with less than nimble feet, so Booker may well be a fit for us.
On Moore I like him best as a deep safety, and unless we’ve decided to move on from Kerby, that’s not the type I want to add. I think one who can play in the box, almost as like a WLB, really makes our defense a lot faster overall. Moore has good instincts in there but he just doesn’t have the frame to hold up.

Weird year for Bama on this one
Feels like they got very few pieces that fit us.
Again, still can see us adding a Bama boy in the draft, but this also could be the year that we dont, first time since Brad’s first draft back in 2021
Yeah, it’s a small sample size. So far 1 out of 4 didn’t have a Bama guy, but they usually churn out a ton of pro prospects. This year not so much. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we didn’t have any.
I really think Que Robinson is the most likely guy. Clear SAM for us and as a former safety, should at least hold up to the pass-defense aspects of the position. Got length for days and still learning how to be a pass-rusher. And supposed to be a great, great kid in the Terrion/Wingo vein. There’s no way we’re not gonna like him.

I just marked myself down for Ty Hamilton. Part of the crush is that he is wildly underrated. #58 is a tough assignment 1v1. He’s so strong and dominant vs the run. I actually might like him better than Tyleik.

He is a beast against the run especially at his size but man, I wish he knew how to do something but bull rush. He’s got a very middling rush plan and if he gets stymied the play just seems to stop for him. Violent, violent dude though, and if you could unlock that part of his game you could have a star, but he’s had 5 years in college and really hasn’t improved the way you’d like. Very, very easy to watch his power plays and fall for him, I get it.
I just added Alfred Collins to my own list. Man what a leap he made this year.

I was very impressed at how consistent he was, especially against the run. He was one of the unsung heroes of that team.

I really like Collins and I think he would be a perfect fit. On the sims I can never get him in round 2. I would love to come out of this draft with one of Grant or Collins. I think Collins can take snaps right away for both Alim and Reader then replace Reader next year as a starter next to Alim.
