Yeah he’s a strange guy since he’s older and hasn’t really done much since he’s been there, but at the same time has been behind some really good players. Still, Murphy was in the class after his, so you would have liked for him to win the job earlier, but development isn’t linear. But I think that’s why some are slow to come around. It wasn’t until I deep dived this year’s tape that I really realized how much improvement he made, despite knowing all about his traits, upsside, etc… before the season.
If we get either Darius Alexander (got it right this time) or Collins at #60, I’d be thrilled. I don’t think Collins will last that long though and expect Darius to be there. A trade up?
I honestly think if we really like either one, they’ll be in play at 28. Seeing more and more mocks with Collins as a 1st rounder, and saw my first one today with Alexander in there. You’d think his age would cap his ceiling, but maybe not. There’s been some older guys like Latu and Fiske go a little earlier. I don’t think they were quite as old as him during their draft cycles, but it’s close-ish.
I also learned Shavon Revel will be 24 in early April. He was in the 2020 recruiting class, but clearly on the very old end of it.
Rental car capabilities is my post covid age cutoff.
Isn’t that 21?
It used to be 25. Looks like it’s changed and some add young renters fees. You used have to get an adult co-signer when I was under 25. At least in my state. But GW was prez so that’s quite a while ago.
I used to hear it was 25, then a cousin of mine rented one somewhere at 18 and I figured that was just urban myth stuff. I think in my state it was 21, though hell I could be wrong about that, didn’t regularly rent cars back then.
Might be state to state based. But in 2003 we had to have a parent put a credit card on hold for us to rent car in Stamford to drive to Stowe.
You can’t find this kind of draft coverage anywhere else.
We’re like the Ringer crew basically
Need more Heifetz mispeaks. But I am cut from the Danny Kelly like 92% of prospects cloth.
Or the written version of it. Hard to type epitome and have people know in your head you pronounced it “EH pi toam”
My Estro is a good handle. Someone should use that.
It feels like there has been a Hamilton playing DT for Ohio State for like 10 years, lol.
Added Tai Felton. First in acceleration and third in deceleration at the Sr Bowl according to Zebra Technologies. High end ball tracker. Will get open but can get man handled. Think Jordan Addison with a two round discount.
Spend the entire draft on defense unless there is a WR or OL that we can’t pass up. DE, DT, and CB all need to be taken in the first 4 rounds.
Mike Green is a stud and I love how J.T. Tuimoloau turned it up a notch when it mattered the most.
One thing about JTT that I think we’ll love is that dude is a warrior on high leverage short yardage downs. We’re to the point of our build out where the margins do matter.
I sure hope you are right about JTT, @CuriousHusker
He just doesn’t have the dog/dawg. Underachiever and you keep pumping him …
Just like Jack Sawyers PR team…
Why???
We will probably draft him because he dresses well, smiles…
You are hard on this player. Lacks explosion on the snap. He is just some player in the NFL. But you keep talking him up. Sure, he has talent, but his coache will alway have to drag it ou tof him @CuriousHusker
So…you tell me what am I missing?
JTT is a player that skates by as decent backup.
He has had years to show it. Never did.
I have an open mind
Does he help us win multiple Super Bowls?
Honestly, not sure he even knows what Super Bowl is…might be too worried about the NBA…
Clearly this is your Podium Stand…
Convince me…
I have an open mind.
Welcome back!
JTT is not my “podium stand”.
You don’t need me to explain anything to you. Your opinion is your opinion. I can respect that. I think his floor is very high. I also think after the playoffs he’s probably going higher than I’m comfortable with.
