I kike each one of those guys for what they are but I don’t see the pass rush upside in any of them. Don’t get me wrong Ty Robinson is one of my favorite players in the draft. He will push the pocket and disrupt with his strength and tenacity but I don’t see a pass rusher in his future.
Roberts was often in a 2 point stance rushing off the edge, I like him. Other big ends that could have some pass rush Jordan Burch, Landon Jackson, Sai’vion Jones, Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins to name a few.
I was also just taking from a list of players available in the mock. I’m not a fan of 240lb LB’ers playing edge. At least not for this team. I love stacking the DL with BIGS. And i want that run stopping to get even better. Will they help the pass rush? Yes they will. But not individually. Those guy won’t stack up the stat sheet with sacks. And yeah thats the guy we want.
In general I like this game.
I’m bored and somehow i managed to pull this off.
We’re winning the SB for the next 5 seasons. 5-peat.
Love most of thos guys
But Ty Robinson in the 7th isn’t happening buddy lol
Neither is Sawyer in the 3rd but he is there all the time.
Tory Horton late 3rd would just make me estatic.
I think he’s a guy that gets a huge 2nd contract in the nfl
I’ve watched him for some time, I used to live in Ft Collins and have kept an eye on players from there. Trey McBride played for the Rams as well and he was all that, saw him play a couple times and he was keeping them in games by himself. Horton has been injured and then had a QB that was having problems that effected his numbers this season as well, that may cause him to drop to 102.
DJ was on the Athletic Podcast with Dane and Robert Mayes. He said that he always pays attention to prospects that every team is talking about or prospects that nobody is talking about. The latter also generally indicates a great deal of interest as well in his experience. DJ said absolutely nobody is talking about Tory. I was sad to hear this as I was hoping for value with him but I’m now not particularly optimistic about that.
Good, then 130 is in play.
DJ was implying the opposite. That he believes that means teams are playing possum and that many love him.
Ughh, I get what you’re saying. I mean, if Jalynn Polk cracks the tops 35 or whatever picks in last year’s draft. And look at the Den Mockwe just did…all them WR gone by mid 20s.
Would it be shocking to see Tory Horton get drafted start of Friday? Absolutely not.
Is he one of these round 3 guys that I always want at WR that never makes it to the end…probably.
Seems like a guy we might have to take at #60 if we truely want make sure we get him.
Espcially with all the success his teammate McBride has had like @CasanovaJack1 mentioned.
They are all hush hush because he could be THAT GUY. I truely don’t ever remember a guy where we are ALL in lock step over. Me you Thats2 Casanova Bubba etc…
What if he’s the Gibbs pick of 2025.
Trade down…get an extra 3rd. And just take Tory Horton !!!
Brad Holmes Breaks the interenet by trading down into round 2 getting a 3rd and drafts Tory Horton.
I mean, dude I can ■■■■■■■ see it.
With his injury… and we have Tim Patrick for 1 more year at least like we had DJ CHark when we drafted Jamo and eased him in.
This might be it dude.
If you want him just take him at 60. That’s value from my perspective.
Not sure he gets there though based off of that DJ comment.
Quantum theory says Tory Horton could be drafted at either 60 or 102. I say it will take voodoo or trade magic for the Lions to snag him somewhere in between.
On top of that, the whole pod was about favorite prospects outside the consensus top 75, and BOTH Dane and DJ had Tory Horton as their top guy. I think he might be gone by 60.
It’s actually a really good listen and full of guys we’ve talked about a ton in here. Teddye Buchanan, Nohl Williams, Joshua Simon, Que Robinson, Dylan Fairchild, Joshua Gray, Craig Woodson. Oh, and three guys from that list I made were on it (and I swear I hadn’t listened to it beforehand), Cabeldue, Sorrell and Jacob Parrish.
Cabeldue
Cableguy is a Lion for sure
