He trades down and drafts Isaac Teslaa WHATTTT ![]()
I only don’t like mock drafts with trades. They are already wildly inaccurate without including scenarios that will never happen.
Not a shot at you DvE. Has anyone seen a mocked trade outside of the first couple of picks ever come to fruition?
On the other hand, if you’re going to be wrong, why not be spectacularly wrong? If the Lions were 1-15 in 2008, they’d just be another really bad team. But the first team to be 0-16? Everyone knows it’s the Lion. They can never take that away from us.

Yeah I’m 100% with you, predicting a trade is just bad prognosticating. The odds against getting it specifically right are overwhelming.
And yet I’m pretty sure someone actually nailed our trade-up for Terrion last year. Still bad process, but blind squirrel and all that.
I supposed if you can identify two trade partners and are only dealing with picks it is a math problem at that point
In last year’s case at least, I think identifying the player was easier. In fact I think there were a few who had us trading up for Arnold (lots of bad process going around), but only one who got our partner right. But that’s going off memory which is admittedly unreliable.
This year identifying the player is much more difficult. A bucket of players, sure, but no one stands out as clearly as Arnold did last year.
5 Abdul Carter EDGE | Penn State
42 Grey ZabelI OL | North Dakota State
162 Bhayshul Tuten RB | Virginia Tech
196 Elijah Roberts DL | SMU
228 Dante Trader Jr.S | Maryland
244 Jay Toia DL | UCLA
Ok so Carter fell to 5 and I had to go get him. We give up our 1st next year. I figured we are going all in and I also traded up for Zabel. Tuten can return kicks and fill in for Gibbs or Monty and Vaki can have the 3rd downs. Roberts is a power edge that can get home. Trader is an over the top safety who will come up and tackle. Toia is a 330 lb NT who plays more like Alim than Reader and takes over next year. I would give up the 1 next year for this draft but I actually overpaid to go up and get Zabel.
Man a finish of Roberts, Trader and Toia would be fun. The trade-ups are interesting and all, but give me that sweet day 3 pull.
Love the aggressive trade up , but if we only have to give up 29 and 1st next year he might have to fall lower than 5.
And if we do so, i definitely would want to do something where we trade our 4th this year for 3rd next year .
That way we would have 4 picks in round 2-3 next year to move with since we don’t have a first anymore next year
Apparently i went with a Big Ten theme on this one Traded 1st/2nd this year and 1st/3rd next year to move up for Graham(could probably even put in Hooker/Paschal to Jets to make it more realistic)
I like Burch but I think that sim needs to adjust their rankings.
Move. #60 and 1st and 3rd in 2026 for 20 and fix our d line for the future(2 big contract guys and 2 young players so it balances out $$$ wise).
I think Ty Robinson would be a good pick in the 6th round.
I respect the no trade mocks that you pull off.
But Brad makes sooo many trades on draft day.
Jamo,Paschal, Gibbby, Laporta, Branch, Rodrigo, Wingo, Barnes, Mahogs, Arnold, Manu, Vaki, Bromart
Round 7 is loaded in these simulators
Lachey, Yurosek, Hassanein, Que Robinson, Tyler Barron, Jack Nelson, Lahjontay Wester, Kitan Crawford
Love the first 4… Schwesinger is a stud, Sawyer is a solid #2 DE, Horton is Josh Reynolds 2.0, and, well, you know how I feel about Jones… I’d be ecstatic
