That’s probably it.

Most of those names are laughable. Alex smith??? Todd Gurley??? What the hell is that.

I agree with you. Fitz and Brees are first ballot. Gore will get it, but may take a few years.

The NFL HOF is pretty weak a** so who knows how low they will go. It’s the hall of they were pretty good at times.

Gonna be 2 or 3 then a few from backlog.

Top 2 now
Gore later
Rivers bubble

Goff should-have made it over Dez Bryant Ffffuck !

Goff is still playing

and?

Normally they retire then have the chance to be in hof. I do agree, but i also dont think goff is close to being in.

should be the kicket

For sure - Brees, Fitz

Probable - Witten, Pouncey, Rivers, Gore

50/50 - Atkins and maybe Rivers should be here.

For me the HOF should be for the elite only. Rivers wouldn’t get my vote. Neither would Gore though he had a great career.

The two Pounceys should cancel each other out.

Gore has the 3rd most rushing yards in NFL history behind Payton and Emmitt. How is that not elite?

Accumulation stats have always meant less to me. I mean if you played the career of 2 really good RBs and you did it all by yourself, does that make you a HOFer? HOFer are really expensive, I think I would rather just draft 2 less expensive guys that give me the same thing.

I think longevity, especially in football is pretty remarkable in itself. Especially at a position whose average career is something like 3 years. Cal Ripken wasn’t the best baseball player ever, his biggest accomplishment was playing so many games consecutively. I think what Gore did was pretty remarkable for someone who didn’t have a run over 55 yards after his 6th season, he just continued to grind out yards.
His 2nd season he had almost 1,700 yards rushing but then never had a season over 1,128 yards.
You can’t have a list of top 10 RB rushing yards of all time and not have the guy’s bust not be in there to represent him.

And he really defied the odds when it comes to longevity for RBs. By something like 10 yrs or so? The guy should definitely get a bust.
