It’s called a psychotic obsession. Most of them care more about your team losing than their team winning. A Michigan win is a loss for OSU and MSU even if both of those teams win, which they both did. @HSVLion is one of my favs here, the kid knows his shit. But he, too, has a psychotic obsession with Michigan. I normally don’t participate in live game threads but I am home this weekend and bored as shit as the house is empty. Now everyone was on this board saying that Michigan did not look good, including Michigan fans. Bryce Underwood got the brunt of the criticism, as he should, he looked and played like shit. No one had a glimmer of hope in that thread (or this one). But HSV was on here just piling on and trolling Michigan and its fanbase, as you can probably expect from a rival fan. I almost cautioned him on what he was doing for the simple aspect of KARMA. But that karma slapped HSV into an oblivion with what most of us see as a screw job, including myself. But he was so prepared to pile on more that he pivoted to the typical OSU fan crying about Michigan. I couldn’t hold back my laughs as I read it because I knew thats exactly what could happen and it did. So many of the Michigan rival fans are not only beside themselves that Michigan benefitted from a terrible call, even more so that they had an for sure opportunity to bury the Michigan faithful with an opening home loss to a MAC school. Y’all was never going to hear the end of it, but that plan fell through and now they are pissed…

That literally doesn’t make any sense. I’m a Michigan fan and Michigan won. If that’s butt hurt, then here’s hoping for 11 more weeks of butt hurt.

Players are also taught field awareness …and I just feel from the look of it you have top know you are out of bounds if you are still looking up and your body is clearly behind the goal post.

That’s the part that truly sucks. If I were in the locker room, I would be upset as well. Hopefully they can regroup and run the table.

Trust me I understand…but it’s why I don’t do a lot of trash talking like I used to. You have to own that shit when it doesn’t go your way. I have learned over the years to just let it play out!

It is pretty crazy how emotional a lot of fans are. I was like that for many years too so I get it. But it’s just a game.
We are just watching men in tights play with balls. 
It’s just entertainment for shits and giggles. It means Jack squat.

Michigan didn’t cheat.
But the officiating was absurd.
There isn’t a world that exists where that play should’ve happened.
Also, as a long-time UM’er, you gotta know Michigan deserves any grief opposing fans give them (and not just MSU/Buckeye fans—it’s literally every fan across the country right now). It’s not like Michigan doesn’t have a reputation for being complete snobs.
So yeah, when Western Michigan walks into the Big House and woodsheds big blue, this is going to happen. The “post-game” theatrics are just going to make the pain last longer.

Whittingham didnt tell them to add time…but Fox has B1G noon kickoff next week to promote, and I’d imagine they wouldnt be thrilled that their big game would be an unranked Mich coming off one of one their most embarassing losses ever, against a ranked OKL team…call me cynical, but the tv networks and $ run the sport, and a quick call by Fox execs during the review isnt beyond the realm of possibility, “hey uhhh, ummmm, yeahhh, think you guys should add one more second for one more shot to salvage our mutli-million dollar game next week”…but no, there’s just no way such a thing would happen in this current world of college football.

Not sure about ESPN or NBC but I know the people who run FOX runs ALL OF THEIR sporting packages, College, NFL, MLB, IndyCar, NASCAR, Dog Shows. I don’t do many FOX shows as I have done but the guys at FOX are the ones that put me with Game Creek video…so I am very familiar with them. I do the TNF show for football and I don’t know any of those execs…
