Ok, I’m gonna try this once more. Last season didn’t last more than 10 games if that. Not sure if I should believe the hype but at least Flores ate 67m owed to the last coach…Hey Ilitch, Javy Baez hint hint…
I mean.
maybe it will be idk
Bickerstaff has looked good, and he is trying to play Ivey, something Monty never did
so, small step forward atleast lol.
Ok, game is on, however, it’s muted, see how long this holds my interest.
The only reason to watch, imo, is to see if Cunningham has really turned the corner and will become that guy.
Or is he just another guy.
So, another Tork question is what you are saying?
Yup
Are the Pistons still on Bally?
yes
I’m a Magic fan, and have been able to tune it out, as they’ve been terrible. They are definitely much better now, but the NBA in general sucks now. Trying to build super teams. “Load management” just not as good of a product.
With that said, I’m gonna watch the Magic Heat and see if I can get into it
Yea, agree on the NBA.
Funny thing is one of my mfrs has corporate suite for the Heat and I was reminded again dude get some customers bring them to a game.
So, guess I’m going to a few NBA games this year. Funny thing is the last NBA game I went to was in the 90s, the Heat vs Philly.
Barkley and Bol against Heat players I can’t remember right now but were pretty good.
90s and early 2000s was the best NBA
I can go with 70’s -90’s
I’m a Piston slappy. Went to a game in 1982 and have been hooked ever since. It’s been a tough 15 years though.
I’ve been to 100’s of Piston games, but it’s been a while.
My daughter and her high school team were at the malice in the palace.
Appropriate that we are playing the Pacers tonight then.
Pistons might win 30-32. Probably 25-27, but IDK if there will be much building for the future. The young guys fit together like russian tank parts and the vets are, well, not very good. Hardaway was abysmal last year. Harris is the 2nd best player on the team and he is a declining stretch 4/3.5.
Fontecchio is projected for 6+ rebounds a game. That is not a great sign.
Holland and Ausar are two very different guys with 1 thing in common. Busted J. Oh and Ivey. 3 kinds of busted J player.
But really, they did this shit last yr with Bogdan and Burks…1 dimensional vets on short deals.
Same day different shit.
I hope Holland turns into JR Rider or maybe even Thunder Dan. I hope Ausar turns into Iggydala. I hope Ivey turns into, well, some very faint version of DRose. Cade is slo mo Grant Hill. Duren? Thought he was Dwight Howard lite. Might be McDyess lite if we get lucky.
If this all looks like it doesn’t fit together, its because it doesn’t. At All.
Somehow Cade and Haliburton are Ofer the first half and the Pistons are up 4 w 3 minleft to the break.
Kid I was a little interested in, knowing nothing much about him is the Klintman kid.
three new guys are leading scorers; Hardaway, Tobias, and Beasley
I don’t think “Super Teams” are really a thing anymore since the Warriors dynasty. NBA has had parity the last 5 years or so. My biggest issue with the NBA today is that it’s become a 3 point chucker competition which is why we see so many blowouts because teams either shoot themselves into or out of a game quickly. The load management is an issue as well, as you mentioned, kind of cheating people who pay good money to watch great players play.
