In year one of a new staff, you’re right. But I never felt that that fat ■■■■ and his GM buddy were long for the world after 1 year of them losing on and off the field. No one wanted to be here on purpose

I was referring to how it seems like every year we look at the schedule and what we think will turn out to be a soft schedule actually ends up one of the most difficult.

I agree about Patricia–I knew after year 1 it wouldnt work and was vocal about it.

The “soft schedule” was an actual thing based on last years records. The problem is that in the NFL teams can make incredible improvements in a single year. The Vikings were 8-9 and we beat them once last year, they looked to be low hanging fruit this year. Well, not so much. Dolphins were 9-8, the Jets were 4-13, the Seahawks lost Wilson, Eagles were 9-8…it looked like we were poised to make the jump this year. Injuries and questionable coaching decisions and voila, here we are, again.
