You have New Orleans as home and away in list

New Orleans would be a Home Game. Put Atlanta where he has NOS on the Away Games and the rest is accurate.

And 1 of those Home games is probably going to be overseas. Maybe in Germany.

My bad. I fixed it. My mock schedule had it right tho

As for the Germany game.

It will be a Lions Home game.

And for the opponent.

This year it was the AFC vs NFC cross over game.

One of them in 2023 was the same conference cross over game,

The other 3 have been the conference divisional games.

LMy GUESS it will be the Giants.

Giants also have a Germany marketing program. The only other non division home game they have with an opponent with Germany marketing is the Buccaneers. But i think thats too big of a game to put in Germany.

Only good thing about this season is this 4th place schedule for next year.

Four road games near me.
Three within 3hours
third in a stadium where my employer has a suite…

Definitely making one or two of those games.

We really need to be dominant at Ford Field next year considering that slate.

Depending on when the game @ATL is, I might be in attendance.

Also maybe @MIA, if I can set that up to align with med school tours/secondaries.

Miami is where my company has the Suite, so that one is high on the list.
TN, ATL, and Charlotte are the others, my preference of stadiums, or moreso cities:

TN
Charlotte
ATL I despise the city of Atlanta but it’s only an hour away from the house so…

Only 1 true cold weather game Outside of the division next season.

At Buffalo. (New stadium too) hope thats early in the year.

Atlanta, Arizona, Miami, all warm weather/ domes.

Carolina is hit or miss. December Could be below freezing. Could be 70. Average is around 55

I also despise Atlanta, but if this game is anything like the 2021 game there, it’ll be super easy. The stadium was half empty for that one, so no wait for anything.

There’s no way we play Tennessee on Thanksgiving. The league almost never schedules a cupcake for the Lions on Thanksgiving and they never ever do it when the Lions are mediocre or bad. It’s going to be the Patriots, and if not, then the Packers or Bears.

Arizona game gor me again, too bad only 1 west coast swing.

Hope Springs Eternal!!!

2021 - 3-5 home, 0-8-1 road
2022 - 5-4 home, 4-4 road
2023 - 6-2 home, 6-3 road
2024 - 7-2 home, 8-0 road
2025 - 5-3 home, 3-5 road

I’ve always felt that we’re a bit more vulnerable at home than I’d like us to be. For all that Ford Field has a reputation for being a hard place for other teams to visit, we lose too many home games, even in the good years. 1-4 on Thanksgiving is really poor. We need to be putting up 8 wins from that home slate next season.

We’re on the same page here.

This is EXACTLY what I wanted to know. This years sched was fuc cking BRUTAL.

I mean find the LT and C positions which is not as bad of a situation as I think we all feel.

Very possible the replacements are on team. Seasoning is needed for sure. But finding a drop in for RT or C would be ideal and ship Sewell over to LT.

I think the players to fill in the rest of the line are on roster.

I can see a 12-13 win season next year.

Need to do some serious soul searching on the coaching staff. Especially the coordinators. I do think someone needs to be brought in for OC. While I thought Shep at times was outfoxed overall he did a fine job. Defense was dominating early until injuries started. And he showed flexibility to zone up more as the injuries piled up.

They need to win this final game against Chicago to salvage a winning season. Sorry but that has to be a priority. It matters.

But in the flip side how far up can they get if the lose for the draft.

4th place, easy as hell schedule unlocked!!

12-14 wins next year again!

I want all the starters to sit. Penei got hurt last game! What if he blows out his knee in a throwaway game.

Goff got the shit knocked out of him. We all saw that last fumble - BOTH DEs had a free run at him, sandwiched him at full speed, completely unblocked. That could break his arm.

No reason to put these guys in jeopardy for nothing.

Fair point and I am not going to argue this is bad logic or the actual right decision

I just think this franchise needs a winning season streak of double digits not 2-3
