4th Place Opponents for 2026

So a little research and 13-14th pick looks like the absolute best pick possible.

So let’s put away any idea of losing.

Beat the Bears and get a winning season in place.

LIons win and other teams lose. Lions could end up picking 18th. Lose and its 15-13

Thats a massive swing

Maybe I am just not that interested

They need C, Tackle L or R, DE and a safety prospect

And I would guess another corner if possible

And maybe a late round sleeper QB development piece

It is 5 spots in the 1st round after that round a few spots means less and less

True. Most draft value charts.

Pick 5 is about 50% of the #1 pick

Pick 13 is 37%

Pick 18 is 30%.

Still the over all value for each round drops. I want brad to have the best ammo he can get.

So, you’re telling me it’s good to let the Bears win. I’m on board with this. Work the NFL shit system, Lord knows the NFL has worked over the Lions for years.

I certainly don’t want any of the West teams to represent the NFC, they’ve all had more than their fair share of success. Nor Philly. And FTP.

I don’t care if it’s Carolina. But I’m actually OK with the Bears, they’ve had a pretty miserable football life over there for decades, though certainly not nearly the heartbreak of the Vikes.

Play the long game – protect the starters for next season, secure that 4th place schedule, improve the draft pick, and give reps to backups who need the experience. Consider the final game a pre-preseason game, if you will. And heck, if we know the Vikes beat the Pack before we play the Bears, we can still play to win with those backups.

That would be awesome. While I’d hate for Tepper to be happy, I really like Bryce. Seems like a sweet kid. Was left for dead and now the talent is starting to float to the surface. Would be an amazing story.

Though it’s not happening of course.

Looks like 15-16 wins, next season! Niiice!

Can’t wait for the schedule to come out. A few away games are within striking distance for Natty to attend. MIA, ATL, and possibly Panthers

My ideal schedule for 2026.

Alternating home/ away

AFC games early.

Divisional games mid season and end of season. With the 2 out door games early

Germany game as a road game before bye and before thanksgiving. Preventing all short weeks.

Spaced out Prime time games.

Thought about it in my drunken stooper after the Vikings game. This possible schedule for next year, it’s hard to ask for a better one.

Give me one more shot with this Talent, vs this schedule. This team has the ability. One more try with this roster…

You still have to beat the best. Not sure we can do it

not with 2025 roster, for sure not

With a 4th place schedule.

And using a 4 year average.

The Lions have the 4th easiest possible schedule next year.

4yr average SOS of 0.445

Easiest would be 0.431 (swap playing the AFC East with AFC South)

Hardest (36th) 0.485

Or In terms of total wins of opponents.

Easiest - 125

2026 - 129

Hardest - 140

The Bears are division winners with a 4th place schedule. Only beat 3 teams with a winning record

The Patriots only beat one lol

Yea i was shocked when i saw.

Patriots SOS was only 0.380. Gross.

I never really believed in preseason SOS because teams are better or worse than they are supposed to be every year.

But this year? Yeah man every decent team with a cake schedule made the playoffs.

9ers schedule was cake but they did beat most of the good teams they played

Also having a weaker schedule allows you to play your injured players a little less.

Honestly, this year really did convince me that Schedule does play a big part whether your good or not

Also, there is a chance the entire NFC North finishes above .500… which is just absurd.

Now that is a positive thinking. We have an entire roster full of those guys. Lol
