He looks dominant. I suck at knowing what that means when dealing with lower levels of competition. That Duke thinks he’s a stud is big for me.
I just saw a little of him at the east west shrine practices and I saw Baldy do a review for players he liked in day 3. I think Brad and the scouting staff do a thorough job on these late round guys. I wish I felt as good about Martin as I do about Colby.

Interesting. I’m actually more enthused about Martin. Between the traits and what they were willing to give up I’m pretty fired up. I’ve made me desire for a tangy war daddy nose pretty clear.
Well Colby talked about meeting with coach Fraley at the Shrine game and I think his pro day. If Fraley likes this kid I’m all in. I have seen very little of Martin but the Lions certainly wanted him bad enough to move up and get him.
Martin’s frame is rare. He’s got uber elite LT like reach but on the inside. He’s a ball of clay hut a good one at that. AND we have a former collegiate DL coach so he’s familiar refining rawness.

He is a little older and from his interview he sounds ready to dedicate himself to Lions football. I think he may need a good year on a diet and in the weight room before he can be effective.

I’m really excited about him… he’s gonna get to backup Jackson, glasgow and Vaitai, and I think he could be a real good player. Love his outlook and attitude
Also he’s a Nirvana fan so he’s already one of my top favorite players
He seems smart.
