Dates estimated based on past years dates for those cities (excluding Brazil)
Detroit will be a “home game”.
So the Lions will get their full slate of 9 home games at Ford Field. Cool, I like it.
Got it maximize that ARSB speaks German angle.
I have seen conflicting reports on the Lions.
Germany was announced then ATL and DET were told they will play overseas all within an hour.
The THOUGHT was Detroit was a home game BECAUSE NFC teams are hosting all but 1 INT game.
But Detroit plays AT Atlanta this year.
Atlanta and Detroit both have marketing deals in Germany
Also theres no games left. Based on the rumors and confirmed hosts.
As a Season Ticket Holder they told us they aren’t raising prices this year because we are losing one home game to International.
The time difference gives the NFL options… because the law is focused on “local time”.
..
The Australia game could be scheduled for 5pm local time In L.A. (8pm for eastern time zone)… which would be played at noon in Melbourne, Australia.
.
Atlanta SFF PHI, was told they are hosting no location told yet.
JAX, NOS, LAR already confirmed.
Jax rumored home and home. (Lions dont play them)
Rumor of CHI hosting spain. But thats fresh off the press.
So IF what you say is true. Lions are hosting in Spain. Because thats the only spot left.
But based on the reports ive seen. I feel confident its a road game IN Germany against Atlanta
Small detail. ARSB “speaks" French. He “is" German…half of his DNA.

hopefully this works. Based on what I’ve been told and I’m reading, the Lions will be the home team.
Eh. A social media ONLY sports page i have a hard time believing.
From either team pages or from well respected sports pages.
JAX - Home & Home in London
NOS -hosting in France
LAR - hosting in Australia
WAS - Hosting in London
SFF - Hosting in Mexico
CHI - Hosting in Spain.
ATL - Hosting in Germany
That only leaves Brazil and London vs Jax for host cities.
The only reports ive seen from the Lions side of things are from the Team reporters “play OR host an international game”
So they COULD host in Brazil (they also have a Marketing deal)
Which is very real possibility. Hosting The Patriots because the patriots also hold a Marketing deal in Brazil. So its VERY possible.
But based on the timing of when teams announced they are playing in an international game and when said game is also announced is the deciding factor for me.
I guess we will see. I have a letter from the Lions stating that they are not raising season ticket prices this year because we will be losing one home game due to the international game. I hope you are correct but I’m fairly certain that it will be a home game.
December 10th 8Am
NFL reporters announced Germany Game
7 hours later 5pm
Atlanta Falcons informed they will HOST an international game
1 hour later 6pm
Detroit Lions informed they will “Play OR Host” an international game
Thats not a coincidence. And the Lions are likely playing it safe with tickets. The NFL knows which teams are in. But the Owners may not know exactly yet. So the Lions dont want to risk raising prices
It makes sense to me that it would be one of our home games. I’ve always figured if a team has a 9 home game schedule, like the Lions do in 2026, that any international game they may play in would be one of their home games.
I haven’t really confirmed if this holds true since going to a 17 game schedule, but it only seems fair to make that the standard.
Again, I hope you’re right. I’d rather 9 home games at Ford Field.
Since they went to 17 games yearly alternates NFC and AFC. So 2022, 2024, 2026 the NFC has 9 home games. 2021, 2023, 2025 the AFC has 9.
International games TYPICALLY the conference with 9 hosts the INT games. However 1 or 2 a year the opposite conference gets one.
AND about half of the games are same conference. Meaning for this year NFC as road teams.
If true, their bye week will likely be on November 8. Works for me.
Ill have to do digging on that.
I was under the assumption that it was over by 6pm local BROADCAST time not location.
IE as soon as it hits 6pm in the Eastern time zone the feed goes black. But still good for central going west.
I hope we get the Madrid game.

Well that sucks.
