in the spirit of funky things, i was playing with my preferences and started getting notified of new topics. After a couple days, I didn’t like it, and wanted to set it back to ‘normal’ (which is just getting notified of responses, likes, or if someone mentions you). But it doesn’t seem to remember the ‘normal’ setting, and I can’t make it stop sending me notifications of new posts. I’m prolly the only one and am doing something wrong, but just in case others are wrestling with this…

Sounds less than optimal. I’ll try to reproduce it tonight.

Am I the only one who can’t figure out how to get “new topics” to stop appearing under alerts in the MLB forum?

I saw that you were still subscribed to the “Tigers” tag (https://thedenforum.com/u/jerseyjungle/preferences/notifications). I just removed it. LMK if you still have issues, but that is the section where you’d edit such things.

I should point out though, that the site is loading so much faster for me since it disappeared.

I turned it off to see if it was slowing the site down. It definitely was a resource drain, and I think most of us have become blind to it.

I’m having issues scrolling and the the page hopping around from the end to the last position.

There is a very high possibility that the trouble is related only to my mouse and the 3rd wheel, but I thought I’d mention it.

I’ll depress the 3rd wheel and move the mouse to scroll down or up, then it jumps to the end or back to the last place I had been in the thread. I think there may have been more than a few f-bombs by me trying to read through the epic cut thread.

Why aren’t you using the mouse that @Nate sends out to each board member when they join the board?
