Best rookie class ever. You can’t change my mind.

Need to see production over 3 years but early returns are very promising.

Why? He has 2 INT’s! Hutch has been a bigger playmaker.

You memory is bad.

Honestly not sure why it matters unless you just want to puff out your chest… as i said the guy that was paid to make that pick was fired largely due to his inability to properly utilize resources to find talent.

Stats aren’t everything. He is ranked the number on cb in the nfl

Nope. It’s very good and I am not about to pat you on the back despite your pathetic attempt.

Is that because he is truly number 1 or because teams are attacking the rest of the jets secondary? Right now he is failing a bit in coverage as i watch the jets seahawks game.

According to who? You are literally talking about an award that stats matter. Besides the fact that Hutch has more picks than him as a DE. Hutch is the first rookie sine 1982 to have 7 sacks & 3 INT’s. He is also leading all DE/LB’s in INT’s. Hutch has made a lot more explosive impact plays than sauce. Facts trump an opinion everyday of the week.

Im not going to get a f ucking debate. He literally ranks number one as a cb. And its the hardest position to learn in the nfl. I get why you want him to win, but f uck you cant voice a opinion on this board. Enjoy the win.

The irony of your post….bc the facts and the awards already given to sauce say he is the best corner this year period. Like lions fans need to take a step back and take their homer hats off.

Its a fine opinion but i am simply asking why is he ranked number 1. Is it because he has been the best (with 19 pass deflections), is it because they havent felt the need to attack him, is he statistically the best or is it something else. Being ranked number 1 at your position is based on something, typically statistics but it looks like it is more pff grading which can have merit just curious.

With that said, it certainly doesnt mean he will or wont win, honestly woolen, hutch, and houston have been more impressive from a raw statistics perspective with more ā€œimpactā€ plays. Gardner is very deserving to win based on what i had seen in previous games but i am not sure we should disregard the odds for a guy that has 6 interceptions and a defensive score playing the same position, or a defensive end that has 48 tackles, 7 tfl, 7.5 sacks, 3 ints, 2 fr.

Honestly if houston played this way over a whole season instead of being on the practice squad he probably would have gotten in the conversation

What awards has he won? The season isn’t over yet. You are literally projecting an opinion over facts it’s hilarious.

They literally won’t throw at him. BJ did not throw at him. No one is throwing at him. He plays on a island by himself. No safety help. It was talked about to exhaustion in all the previews leading up to the jets game. This is a fluke thing. Both are deserving but people are ignoring sauce’s all-pro season bc they want their hometown stud to get the award.

Sauce has it in the bag (nobody even throws to his side) but Aidan is a clear #2 I’d think.

My question is, has Houston thrown his hat in the ring as a top 5 rookie? He won’t win ROTY but I can’t think of anybody who has had more impact per snap.

Seahawks have attacked him today with some success, but yes teams have avoided him for sure.

Adien is number 2, but Houston has to be in top 6 how many games has he played this year and doesn’t he lead the team in sacks
