Aiden Hutchinson

6 games 8 sacks.

He was actually playing some more linebacker today as well, the dude just seems to be growing and proving that his ability to get to the qb is not a fluke thing.

8 sacks in 6 games and this is with limited snaps in those 6 games.
I don’t think this is hyperbole but is there a player that has ever had this much impact per snap in league history to start a season? Forget rookies, I’m just talking about any player of any age. I’m running out of words to describe what Houston is doing.

Im a big fan of Houston. He seems fast and very physical sacked fields by knocking over his blocker.

Kid has been a surprise for sure.

Looks like we have 3 of the top 15 rookie sack leaders and the top 2 overall. Funny thing is that houston has played 6 and paschal 9 games, houston is the leader and paschal is tied for 15th with a few other players. But only three rookies have more than 2 sacks while playing fewer than 10 games, but houston leads all rookies and has only played 6… my god do i hope this dude continues to prove it.

And, if you don’t think Hutch isn’t a huge part of the Houston, Cominsky, and Pascal sacks, you’re obviously blind.
The opposition can’t give Hutch the attention he demands and our other DE, too.

A good offseason for hutch, houston, paschal, McNeil. Add a rookie and a free agent, god forbid levi actually can get healthy (not counting on it). Romeo another year out of recovery, we may have something just need to keep developing and adding talent. I thought iffy looked good today as well hopefully he can trend up and be a plus contributor at safety.

And same goes the other way around.

Yep. He had a real good second half.
Nice surprise!

Probably not.

If Houston would have played a full season, Jevon Kearse’s rookie record (14) would be in very serious jeopardy.

It’s Holmes’ picks, not Glenn’s defense.

@Martymcfly2017 isn’t blind. And honestly, he has very valid points.

I agree he makes life easier but c’mon who are people gonna notice more in terms of overall impact the guy who is the star of the number 32 defense or the guy who is the star of the number 4 defense.

Hutch is better looking. Gotta count for something.

Sauce numbers aren’t great because no one throws his way. Hutch is having a great rookie year, no matter how we can slice and dice it. Houston to my mind has been better and has lower snap count and played way less. Back to sauce thing, just like qb, cbs are the hardest to learn in the next level.
