I just wanted to hand out some flowers to a previously much-maligned player. I know he’s a den favourite now, but when you re-watch these games this guy is ALWAYS in the right spot. His read and react skills are one of the best I’ve seen, especially from a Lions LB, in quite some time. Nothing groundbreaking here…I just wanted to share my appreciation for one of Brad Holmes best acquisitions. Side note: Terrion Arnold’s progression from weeks 1-3 to now is very very promising. This kid looks like a star in the making. That’s all…back to trying to pillage the Jaguars, Browns, and Raiders ()
Last 3 weeks. Arnold has been the lions best Corner. (Not DB). Hes getting better and better. By the end of the season 3/4 DB positions may be at an elite level
When is the last time we could say that? 1993? 95?
Alex is the real deal, Thor! The heart of the defense.
I was dismayed that Brad gave him a three year deal after the 2022 season. I am now the opposite of dismayed.
Mayed?
So was I. I am also Mayed
Anzalone is much better at Will than Mike. His game has really took off since moving to Will last season. Jack is really improving at Mike too.
Linebacker depth is becoming an issue though with Barnes and Rodrigo both injured.
Went from Dollar Store Thor to Nieman Marcus Thor.
I kind of like “Thrift Store Thor”….
still has a little rhyme to it…
and he is like landing the one good brand name sweatshirt before anyone else spots it.
You are thus charmed!!
That would be mayed.
New or casual Lions fans love the DST nickname whenever I tell them. Might be the best nickname ever.
I’ve been hard on Jack Campbell ;mostly in my mind) but his work is starting to pop as well. Relentless engine. Like the slant 6 they used to put in them 80s-90s Jeep Cherokee’s. Not the most powerful, but my god did they never quit. My stepdad had 518,000 KMs on his 93, and a mechanic harvested the engine out of a rusted out chassis…
That’s 321,000 miles for the imperials in here (all of you I’d assume). And this man drove that thing through the thickest of northern Ontario brush, swamps, sides of mini mountains…
My dad loved that engine swore by it.
I put three hundred and fifty three thousand miles on my two thousand five suburban.
Have 247000 miles on my Durango, I’m driving right now.
Above as voice text apologize for anthere’s
Was there ANYONE in the Den that liked that deal at the time?
No.

JRM popped his mouthpiece out on a (perfect) tackle, and AA attempts to catch it. A play you might not ever see again during a professional game.
