Many of the greats were middling when it comes to natural gifts. Rice, fitz, Carter etc. Calvin and Moss were exceptions not the rule.
Watch out Jerry Rice! He wasn’t the fastest or tallest either.
Yeah I mean he missed on everyone of them. But that last one makes him look like he did no research at all.
Yea I don’t expect much from espn and Puka is a beast no doubt.
For St? Really?
Is it weird that I could care less about best in the league at his position rankings?
Only question I have on Puca is durability which may not be fair to him.
Thinking of golden tate
You’ll never hear a wr slappy say that tho
Eh. All those guys are very good. Most play very different roles in their offense. All gain more per catch than our guy, which you don’t mention, who in turn (at least partly for that reason) has the higher catch % you do mention.
-
Justin Jefferson: 16.7 yards per catch
-
Ja’Marr Chase: 16.0 yards per catch
-
CeeDee Lamb: 15.5 yards per catch
-
Puka Nacua: 14.6 yards per catch
-
Amon-Ra St. Brown: 13.5 yards per catch
If I were choosing a WR to start a team without knowing anything about scheme, QB, etc., and could take off my homer glasses and what I know about him as a personality, would I choose ARSB above any others? Probably not. And I’m REALLY glad the Lions have him.
I think he’s gonna keep Jamo at WR2
Love Jamo and what he brings, but Ra is just more of a professional.
Also, I would LOVE to work with Jamo
I don’t know about best receiver in the league although he’s certainly top 5 but for this culture, this team, this city, there’s no receiver in the league that’s a better fit. I honestly wouldn’t trade him for any receiver in the league due to those factors plus the fact that he’s damn good by the numbers as well and has a contract that’s going to age absolutely beautifully.
That wasn’t me
That was the nfl.com writer before he was drafted
The whole analysis on St Brown was way off
I get that. You said Zierlein, right?
Amon is = Julian Edelman/Hines Ward clutch performances, versatility and toughness as a slot receiver.
I’d compare ARSB to Jerry Rice or Cris Carter more so than any other WR I can think of

Again forgetting Puka.
He is an absolute stud. The Trio of St Brown, Gibbs & Monty we are
very fortunate to have such weapons.
