I’d take Jefferson or Chase over ARSB, but ARSB over Lamb or Puka.
WRX Chase
WRY St Brown
WRZ Jefferson
I don’t agree…. We have such an outstanding GM and Coach and such a well assembled scouting team, our leadership created this….
No luck; just hard work
Careful, you’re gonna get 80 responses to the contrary. How dare you? ![]()
Agree with this 100%
It would be interesting to me if they switched as it feels like the Rams run so much of their offense through Puka. Would Saint get as much run time and what would his numbers look like?

We all know how Stafford likes to pick one receiver and feed him the ball over and over. I think once Stafford retires Puka will take a step backward. He’s a very good player though.

I lean Jefferson + Puka over ARSB and ARSB over Lamb. I’ve hardly ever seen Chase play. He obviously has amazing stats, but also got two more targets/game than ARSB did.
And/but none of this accounts for these other guys’ “dirty work” skills and position room/locker room leadership, where our guy has excelled. Or even injury history, contract details, etc. I think it’s hard to overstate the value of ARSB’s (and Leaf’s) professionalism and modeling.

This. ARSB might not be number one, but he’s up there close to one.
I don’t think people get how insanely high his catch rate is. It’s second in nfl history right now and I don’t see it dropping off.
That fourth down pitch play to Gibbs against the Buccaneers was a thing of beauty. If you rewatch it, Gibbs looks like he’s going to be short, but ARSB comes up behind him and gives him a tush push to pick up the first down. Studs. Absolute team oriented studs on this roster. I have to give credit to Brad and Dan for the thousandth time. These guys know what type of player they are looking for and know how to coach them up.
Is he the best? Who cares? I am really glad he’s a Lion, and there isn’t another WR I would trade him for. One thing no stats can measure is HEART. Amon Ra is the heart and soul of this football team. He sets the bar for work ethic, toughness and unselfishness.
At this point, the comp for ARSB has to be Rice, doesn’t it?
Just a relentless, detail-oriented executer whose dedication to his body and craft re-sets the standard for professionalism. I think Sun God could do this as long as Jerry did, and at that same sort of level, presuming that’s what he wants to do.
I think Gibbs gets it by himself, what a gritty run, refusal to fail… But agreed ARSB didn’t give up on the play and tossed his weight behind Jah for the extra umph.
Gibbs best RB in the NFL
The most unselfish WR star I have ever seen you dont hear him complaining if he only gets 1 or 2 targets and he is one who is willing to do the dirty stuff like blocking for others without a question.
Yes some of the others like Chase/JJ/Lamb are really good but they are divas while Amon Ra is a unicorn
That, St brown pushing Gibbs, was brought up on GMFB this am how no one stops on Detroit’s roster they keep playing on every play.
I was gonna say Larry, but yeah.
Calvin Johnson who?
Calvin Johnson who?
Come on now Cub. Calvin in his prime window was the best of the best.
This coming from a guy with the best avatar on the forum!
