As someone who watched the 4th quarter - that was embarrassing. The Heat were ip 30 and fouling the Wizards to get Bam more shots. When your team is up 30 with less than 3 minutes left and you are fouling the other team every time they touch it - there should be an asterisk on that record. It was hard to watch.
The Wizards should have just started fouling other players. Or fouled Bam hard enough to end the circus. Sorry but anyone impressed should watch that 4th quarter. Gross.

The 4th quarter was just give the ball to bam go 4 on 1 and watch him jump into a pile of defenders. Clearly the refs got the message this would be great PR for the league and were happy to oblige. It almost felt like the Wizards did too in you’re into that kind of conspiracy theory stuff

Did you watch? The 4th quarter was embarrassing. Literally embarrassing. They were fouling the other team up 30 and just throwing the ball to bam and all getting out of the way. A mockery of a basketball game. I’m shocked the wizards allowed it. No one took exception? Not even a hard foul? Not fouling other Heat players to stop the charade?
It felt fixed AF. If not then the wizards owner needs to fire their coach - who would allow your team to get clowned like that?

It’s embarrassing for a lot of reasons. It made the NBA look really bad. He shot 43 free throws like gtfo. He also shot ~46% from the field which is below average for a big man. It’s not impressive in the least bit. Nothing warranted him to keep shooting. Pretty much showed everyone that anyone could do it if they just tried to.
