With the Jets itās less about the roster and more about the situation up top. I mean the owner tried to bench Rodgers ffs. I know he may have to pass the team to his brother, but thatās only marginally better. Heāll still be the owner in absentia. There is nothing worse for a head coach than a meddling owner, and thereās no way Ben doesnāt know that.

Remember that Elliott offense at Clemson? So simplistic. Flare screens to Etienne and let him eat. 9 balls, slot fades, etc. to Tee and Ross and let them win at the catch point. Some crossers and what not to Rodgers. And so on.
I just think there is still not a lot of proof that Twevvaās got the mind to be a great QB. The tools are of course through the roof.
IMO Ben would prefer someone like Dak. No guess work. Scheme it up and he will execute.

Bears not going to hire someone Warren and the GM isnāt familiar with IMO. Ben maybe a good play caller but you have to be a leader of men.

So interesting story on Mcafee and elsewhere regarding Harbaugh reachin out to Poles regarding the Bears and the head coaching position this past January. Poles sent the information to the bosses and of course former big ten commissioner Kevin Warren said no to any dialog with Harbaughā¦ LOL too funny.
We can all be thankful for that too. Jim would run the Bears exactly as you should run the Bears. Strong running game, great defense, and a QB who can make plays as needed.
The only real question I would have is how Jim would get along with Caleb. Skillset wise, Jim would definitely make it work. I just donāt know if Caleb would be happy running a run heavy offense. Jim has done well for Justin Herbert in that regard.

Yeah Warren sure had an issue with Harbaugh for whatever reason and you donāt want to have that guy in your house. His personality is too big and you wonāt be able to control him. Warren clearly canāt work with someone who gathers more attention than him.
Clearly Warren is running the team not Poles.
