Ben took this Job because he did like Williams that much ,people here have just trashed Williams and have a hard time thinking this. Kinda like Matt when he left , people went off about and even laughed about the thought of him and McVay winning a superbowl now it’s he had a stacked team. Wonder what will happen if the Bears and Caleb beat the Lions I’m thinking it will have to do with them having a stacked team or something close.
Yeah I mean all he is really saying is Caleb has another dimension to his game that we have mostly on the opposite side of. He’s looking forward to using that. He did really well with Goff that doesn’t have that aspect to his game. He is excited because he feels he can really use that skill to his advantage. Don’t think he means anything bad here.
If you say Goff can’t run, even if it’s true, you’re a hater. I love Goff, but I really dislike not being able to have a legitimate discourse about him. I’ve accepted it though, which is why I’m never in those threads.
Lol yep, unless your here most here have said the same thing , but is hate Ben for it. Goff super power is his accuracy. Ben knew how to use that but Caleb has another dimension with his scramble ability. Everyone here talked about how we were not good against them types, but then get mad a whine about Ben saying it that we struggled with it.
Not sure what this has to do with anything, Brady got 7 rings so no one should want or needs a scrambling QB ? Ben shouldn’t be excited about having such a asset ?
Goff is a great QB I love him too, but saying he is not good scrambler isn’t a knock.
Get confused here sometimes, people complaining about Ben and his comment, but half this board said we lost because the coaching staff didn’t run ball enough and that Goff shouldn’t have been throwing them passes. I mean in a big game no matter who the RB is with Brady they put the ball in Brady’s hands . But in one word Goff is great then next they say the staff should have never put the ball in Goff’s hands they just should have run it.
Your playing from behind, you have a great QB , your right about the bad game, but the game plan wasn’t bad , them plays were there we just didn’t execute. The point is you can’t say you believe in him then say it’s a mistake to put the ball in his hands in a playoff game.
This thread isn’t about Goff. It’s about Ben and his approach to the media. Nothingburger or not, he should realize everything he says is under the microscope.
Saying that his RT is a better passer than his old QB is unnecessary, a little awkward and can certainly be perceived as a snipe.
He didn’t need to say that at all. He could have just praised Sewell and left it at that
It’s that kind of comment that makes me pissed that we had Chicago’s HC calling our plays on offense in the Commies game.
I have serious trust issues…and they are very well founded.
