Best Movie or TV Show Post-Covid

Same.

I like Fallout’s visual appeal and of course Walton Goggins. Story we will see.

I really don’t get superhero movies… Just once I wanna see the super hero get killed, roll credits. Batman is dead folks, thanks for coming. :joy: Superman flew into a mountain. The end. Spiderman was eaten by a Lion, thanks for watching.

I’m watching Landman now, it’s solid.

If you like smartass male lead, dark humor comedies, I suggest Loudermilk and A.P. Bio (stumbled across this one, and had some LOL moments).

You need to watch The Boys.

Yeah, its funny because a couple of years ago I would have said the same thing. So much good content. There has been a lot of industry upheaval so maybe this was a blip. I tend to like the shows on AppleTV the best overall. Not always, depends on the type of show. Just wish there was more content overall. Amazon stuff is okay, Bezos has a thing for SCI FI and Fantasy which is cool if you like that sort of programming. Netflix honestly there is too damn much to sort through and its really really hit or miss. You almost have to have some sort of outside rating filter like RT or IMBD.

Yeah, for sure. I definitely like Apple TV’s offerings as well. They do Foundation and Severance is really awesome.

I’m hit or miss on Amazon. They do cool projects, but their execution mostly seems to miss the mark for me, but they have some decent stuff.

Netflix? They were great when they first started doing originals. Now it’s kind of like they just throw as much shit on the wall as they can and see what sticks. They have some gems, but they have a lot of lackluster stuff imo. More than probably any other service doing originals, aside from maybe Hulu.

This is the next big one I’m pumped for, mostly because of Cavill’s involvement: ‘Warhammer 40,000’ TV series locked and loaded at Amazon with Henry Cavill set to star | Space

Severance is the best thing on this list, and if people missed it, that’s actually a good thing because you won’t have to wait for like 3 years between seasons 1 and 2. I’ve been surprised, when I talk with normie people who don’t binge a million TV shows (unlike me), it’s the one show that EVERYBODY raves about, even people who don’t usually go for genre stuff.

I watched the first couple episodes and thought it had a great vibe and tone. But then my free week of MGM ran out…

On a non sausage dong note…

I really liked Barry… Not the RB but the dark comedy on hbo. Never finished watching the final season, gotta do that but it had some hilarious moments.

You can always make it more positive by knowing you are supporting my pocket book… well maybe not… if you dislike me i am not an employee of theirs lol

But in all seriousness i agree that some of the content they miss me on, the lotr content specifically is one i couldnt get into.

A new dexter comes out on the 13th

Also just watched speak no evil. I gave it a 6.5

Another one on Netflix is Madness pretty good.
