Appears FF will be hosting a blackout on Sunday night. Atleast that’s what I gather from their IG post. Let’s GO LIONS!
It does appear like there’s a good possibility of us wearing the black unis. I just hope if they plan on making this a true blackout in the stands that they tell the fans ASAP.
The earlier someone knows, the better chance they have of actually wearing black.
Good album. Prime Scorpions.

Reading the headline, I’m thinking: how could a sold out national TV game be blacked out?

Since people connected to the organization read this board, I will say this. Detroit Lions fans should NEVER do a blackout or a whiteout. The sea of Honolulu Blue has a special kind of magic to it. All fans who attend games should consider wearing it…home or away. I was guilty of going to Kansas City wearing black. I blended into the background. Those of you that wore Honolulu Blue were the real champions of that effort. Home or away…I think we need to spread the word about the “sea of blue.”
black is whack
be proud of your traditional color scheme
Black - very achromatic ….
My guess is that there is close to 100% of the Lions fan population that has honolulu blue apparel compared to probably 20% that own black Lions apparel. Doesn’t even seem possible to have a blackout unless fans start making a mad rush to buy it. Which may be the point of them announcing a blackout.
Especially for game 1, I think they should stay with the blues as well. The blues are your base color. I am good if they want to wear black mid season, or on a different night game. Game 1 though, wear the team colors, not the 3rd jersey.
Like a Kmart blue light special but black

Thats what I was thinking.
I could be wrong, but I thought the Lions themselves announced the games they’d be using the blacks and I don’t recall LA being one of them.
Crazy sight.
For once… … I’m glad someone beat me to it.
My bad guys. The subject title could/should have been worded better lol.
I thought it was fitting and fun…play on words.
I was never fond of the Black Uniforms. Besides they’re a reminder of troubled times.
Lions fans should be sporting blue louder and prouder than ever!
I think I need to see them first. The “idea” of them is definitely a reminder, but the new whites and blues both were beautiful once we saw them on TV. I will judge when I see them on gameday, but for now I don’t disagree.
