Golly, Allen Park magic tricks just took a massive leap.
I guess we liked him better than Martinez
Probably bc he can throw the ball without making the power go out in Flint.
Hooo boy.
I guess it makes sense. Many teams struggle to find ONE QB that can really do well. When you’re talking 3rd string, the options get pretty slim…
4th string soon
For the QB room - knows the offence and can support Jared (was Nate’s role). My guess : )
And Dan likes his wife. ![]()
He does seem like a terrific young man. The idea of him saying “golly” to CJGJ who responds with 46 curse words makes me smile.
Holmes seem to fall in love with some, why not try someone new , instead of someone we seen suck for years. A lot of better guys out there.
Hopefully all that knowledge he gained from Kevin O’Connell will take his game to the next level. Still feel like he went to the Vikings just to spite the Lions.
Is Blough back like a back draft?
They did hang him out to dry that one game - oline didn’t hold anything back. Was hard to watch if you remember.
I also think he can coach the practice squad guys up (given that he knows the offence really well).
Yeah he’s no star, but what backup is? And he’s not even our backup, he’s 3rd/4th string. For that I think he’s fine. Good guy to have in the building.
I agree. As others have said, already knows the system and that helps both the PS as well as in the room. He is already aware and engrained into the culture as well. Nobody has to tell him how things are done around there.
Plus everything we’ve ever seen or heard in regards to him is nothing but good. Team liked him. Goff liked him. Coach liked him. He’s 3rd string. He works hard. I don’t see a problem.
True. He played his heart out. One of the most gritty performances on Hard Knocks last year. He’s a gamer no doubt. I don’t blame him for going to Minny. He’s gotta do what’s best for him but there was definitely an element of FU to sign on their practice squad. If it was the active roster then it’s a no brainer.
I totally agree! (Eze was the worst that game).
Smart move to put the sh!t out of the Jefferson playbook.
Know’s. the offense, can contribute immediately in practice and will get cut as soon as Hookers healthy. Smart move, no downside.
And a year ago, they wanted him–not Boyle–on the PS, IIRC.
But Boyle is out there now! ![]()
