I think that once you’re down to the third string guy, you’re likely dead in the water. Blough knows the offence like Nate did (Teddy is too new). Blough will likely take over the role of helping the young guys learn the offence and prepping for games with Jared. You are right that Martinez is better, of course.

I can’t imagine being upset about signing a 4th QB who already knows our system to the practice squad. Man, I remember the days when we were pissed about who we had at QB1.

If all these other QBs have so much potential, why are they still available to be signed to teams a PS? I’m not saying they don’t or will never be anything, but there’s a pretty good chance that 32 teams have all looked at these guys and came to the conclusion that there isn’t a lot of upside. No NFL team is rushing to pick up Adrian Martinez, so that should say something.

Who’s mad , just because people disagree doesn’t mean there pissed. Some are just so giddy they complain if anyone disagrees with a move.
And others realize this is just a way far back of the roster move that is 99% certain to amount to nothing. It’s deep roster fodder, we need different stuff to talk about.

Dude you sound desperate to force people to be giddy, just be cause Holmes signed Bough doesn’t instantly make him better then everyone else available . And some can get caught up in a #s game.

I’m willing to bet the difference between adding Blough vs. Martinez will have roughly 0% effect on the outcome of our season. As you say if we’re at a spot where our #3 guy has to play, we’re probably screwed anyway.

I thought you were a roster, personal, draft Nik guy? I mean it’s easy to talk about the top half guys. The best roster discussions are centered around middle of the pack to the bottom guys.
