Both Coordinators Sucked Today

It looks like when they went to the Zone they just didn’t execute very well and left guys wide open we know on at least one play a linebacker didn’t drop and we saw stuff like that happen more than once. The first half that he looked great even in the third quarter it looked good but then all of a sudden they couldn’t find their ass with both hands and a map.

Whenever we got inside pressure on that guy he crumbled but it was inconsistent and we ended up getting no Insight pressure sacks I think. We pay McNeil a lot of money to be better than this and the camp darling Skyler didn’t do anything I don’t think and really neither did the second round edge burner, Moore.

Campbell wasnt great. Rock was in and out, same with Reed. Wonnom was fine. Hutch git home enough. Spiderman showed up. It’s the DBs(ledd Harper and Maddox who looked good) and not having a feel for zone.

Same with Michigan too but I do think there are a lot of reasons for concern with the Lions.

I agree, but I’ll take issues all season as long as they come at the end of victories.

Gibbs legs are going to be ribs and meat falling off the bone at the end of the season. Holmes didn’t address it

They’ve all been here for years. That’s on the coaches as well as the players. The only one with an excuse is abbney.

So I’m really ■■■■■■■ glad that training camp is over.

Jeebus people. Relax.

We now finally know a lot more than we did before yesterday.

1-0 and now we can to the postmortem and fix our shit. Lots to fix, but ■■■■ people grow a pair.

You guys are funny, gibbs bottled up for 150 yards 2TDs and 5.4 average :joy: defense seemed to be gassed at the end… Coverage wasn’t good in zone or man… They did generate good pressure early in the game, forced some TOs, hopefully it’s mostly week 1 BS. They really were their own worst enemy today, Jamo was ass all day, he’s at the top of my shit list

Yep. Exactly.
Thank you for this.
But keep moving them…

So you think he’s going to be able to carry the ball 500 times this season plus another 120 catches? He’ll be lucky to survive through week 8. I’m more pissed about the constant slamming him into the middle of the line play after play.

I thought our O line looked ok for the most part. Didn’t torpedo drives and looked far better than last year even with two back ups and a rookie playing.

Green shoots and all that. I didn’t have too much issue with either coordinator thought there were a good few mental lapses and players were in position to make plays on both sides of the ball and didn’t

Defensively it really was a situation where Shough and Moore adjusted to the blitz and started throwing back into it. Need to get better at disguising and what not but really outside of the drops and a few bad throws from Goff it was fine i suppose… i mean it did have 24 pts in regulation and 31 total

Gibbs was the only good thing about this game. Other then a win
