Kelly had a .739 winning percentage at ND…. with a softer schedule.
He had a .708 winning percentage at LSU….
with a much tougher schedule.

I’m not sure there’s a place for him at a D1A program anymore.
He’s a good recruiter, very mediocre coach. He’s only had real success when he could get talent a level above his competition. That’s not possible anymore with the portal and NIL money.

Yeah I guess I’ve never seen him innovating on the field since back in the gv days. He has great michigan ties though if that even matters anymore

Not surprised, it was a terrible fit from the beginning. There’s some real power programs that have coaching vacancies, look out lower level programs that have had recent success (Indiana, Vandy, Georgia Tech etc.)

Bad year for Oklahoma State to be looking for a new coach. Not that they’d be in the same market as LSU, but Eric Morris at North Texas would normally be a perfect candidate, but this year feels almost un-gettable.
