If there is one minority hire away from the team, we get an extra 3rd in 2025 and 2026.

Lions, feeding on beans?

I happen to think that often times the beans are insanely overvalued in comparison to what is being lost.

So, two or three extra probowlers likely on the way.

If Glenn gets hired away this year, and Agnew gets hired away next year, do we get 4 total? Or is it still 3?

As long as they are not in the same year, each minority hire gets 2. So our total would be 4 if we lose one this year and one next year.

Fun fact: San Francisco has gained EIGHT 3rd round picks from 2021-2025 due to the minority hiring rule. 3 from Robert Saleh/Martin Mayhew, 2 from Mike McDaniel, and then 3 from Demeco Ryans/Ran Carthon.

Other NFL teams complained about SF getting so many picks, but they voted for the Rules…

Now would also be a good time to do a 23 and me on Ben Johnson and see if he can qualify as some kind of minority. If Mike McDaniel can, Ben should be able to as well.

Irish and Italians were definitely considered minorities here in the US back in the day.
