It was a year of hell, but CGJ was upset that the Lions didn’t offer him a contract to return.

CJGJ is such a clown. I can’t even read this article.
Lions didn’t need him either.

It’s not like I need another reason to hope the Eagles get smacked down on Sunday. But here’s one anyway.
It’s not like I want the Chiefs to win, I just want the Eagles to lose.
This is precisely where I stand on the issue.
I do not want the Chiefs to win.
AND I want the Eagles to lose…
I am in a bit of a trick box.
The only reason I will pay much attention to the game are squares. Other than that I have never been less interested in the Super Bowl. It is really so odd. Even my wife who loves to make a “Super Bowl” spread of food was like "how about we just get a pizza…we have zero energy for this game.
And I guess this is the trade off. Be excited and focused on the Lions all season and the playoffs because they are awesome and fun to watch. But once they are eliminated lose all interest in the NFL somewhat. Orrrrr come to a point were you can barely stand to watch the Lions because they lose so much and in so many creative ways…but you latch on to other teams in the playoffs and look forward to the Super Bowl.
Because that is how I feel now.
He was a much bigger nightmare for Detroit than the other way around.
The injury, the stupid blue mask thing, the constant whining…fock this pos
Just had a discussion with a Bills fan this morning. Told him I wasn’t watching the Super Bowl because there’s no team to root for. He’s rooting for the Eagles because the Chiefs have caused him so much pain.
He got injured and missed a dozen + games and Iffy played at pro bowl levels in his absence down the stretch. What the ■■■■ does he want ?
Lmfao, this little bitch is crying the Lions weren’t trying to extend him in the middle of the season when he was injured and not rehabbing in Detroit, but in Florida?
Get a ■■■■■■■ clue, moron.
Yeah, it wasn’t all that great for us, either.
Glad he’s happy.
Don’t forget the stupid personal foul penalties after the whistle. The guy has talent but he is a turd.
…and the horse he rode in on.
Yea just read the quotes. Got hurt after 2 games.
“Truthfully, like in Detroit it was hell,” he said. “I went there just to — OK, when I got hurt I was like, ‘(Expletive) it.’ Truthfully. That’s why I didn’t go rehab there.”
So he knew he was out of Detroit after only 2 games so he left to rehab in Florida? This guy might have CTE already.
Then he gets healthy in December and wants a new contract when the Lions hadn’t seen him in 10 weeks? Lol wtf man. Holmes must have just laughed at him.
Agree!
If he could have kept his yap shut while he was injured he probably would have been offered one.
If we still had the SOL and no playoffs, I would still not be excited for this Super Bowl. It sucks for every other fanbase. I’ll be curious to see how low viewership ends up being.
Seedy Deuce has no credibility whatsoever. He trashed the Eagles, too, but had no issue crawling back to them when the Lions flushed him. He was just a crappy fit anyways. Every other player now raves about being here. I’m excited to see how we approach free agency this off-season, with the reputation the Lions have built.
And maybe he wasn’t lied to at all—maybe the Lions brain trust simply changed their minds.
