The Texans won with Davis Mills and probably would’ve won today with Mills instead of Stroud. Mills is a decent QB and protects the ball. He will never be a star but is exactly what the Texans needed today.

I am not saying they are entirely wrong, but Houston fans are done with him. Stroud played absolutely horrific today. I know he was missing key guys and the OL was getting abused, but he was throwing balls into traffic and breaking every rule for decent QB play. It was horrible to watch.
Just a few years ago, he was the future elite QB after his rookie year. It appears that was his highwater mark.
Thats a hard one. He has no OL, no RB and lost his WR’s + his TE.

Both are overhyped, neither are very good, but Stroud was better before that injury than Caleb has shown so far.
If they were my two choices to start a team, I’d jump off the bridge.
If they stopped me, yeah, I’d take Caleb.

Stroud just needed to not turn the ball over. Just punt the ball and kick fgs.
Is this really a debate? Stroud has sucked for 2 years. Caleb’s shown a lot of growth and potential.

Stroud had a nice rookie season but since there’s gametape he’s just an Ohio State QB.
Would be horrific if Texans pay him but I doubt it.

Interestingly, it appears Bryce Young is actually developing into a decent QB, while Stroud has regressed. Until this season, it appeared that Carolina made the wrong choice at 1.1 when they took Young.

stroud and jayden daniels seem similar to me. incredibly awesome breaking out on the scene then the league figured them out.
Jayden Daniels is RG4. Washington loves those small guys that run into brick walls.

I’m not ready to bury Daniels….if he has another bad year next year and filled with injuries then yeah, it doesn’t bode well.
Stroud looks scared and completely unsure of what he’s doing out there….he stinks at the highest level of stink. Hard to see him being a good qb in the future

This… I actually really like Stroud, he played well this year considering the issues with the OL and lack of a running game. He’s sorta Goff-lite
