I will admit I didn’t watch every game of his but from the 3 I watched (Arizona/nd/Utah). Nothing truly impressed me with him maybe he played better before and after but I watched those games to see how this surefire #1 great QB was going to look and I came away with that guy really
You hold a deep love in your heart for ARSB, and him dying his hair in the playoffs - which was a promise to someone by the way - endeared him even more to you. You just won’t admit it, but I see you @BigNatty .
These are the kind of criticisms you hear when you are a consensus number 1 talent. Not enough holes in his game… so you have to critique things like nail polish. Joe burrow wearing fur coats, hand sizes, etc. Anything other than football
I truly believe they should measure hand strength. Far more important. I could palm a ball off the dribble with both hands with much more strength than some cats with much larger hands than mine.
Barry has tiny hands & that som’bitch never fumbled.
No agent - red flag
No testing - red flag
Nail paint and crying - not a red flag
Anyone judging the nail paint and crying needs to take a long hard look at themselves. NFL locker rooms are hugely diverse and other players won’t bat an eyelid about that stuff.
Having no agent and not testing will be the first questions teams ask of him when they meet. It does seem a bit arrogant on the face of it, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing for a franchise QB.
Talented young man for sure; I don’t care if he paints his nails pink and dyes his hair neon green. I think I tuned out when he said “ownership stake” in whatever franchise drafts him.
I think I know what you’re saying, but that is quite an overstatement. I am pretty sure the coaches care what their players are doing to their bodies. I don’t think they want them coming in overweight, racing motorcycles, or spending the off season in a crack den. I would hope if your daughter (or anyone you care about) would decide to become a hooker, that you would very much care about what they are doing to their body and the consequences/risks of it.
If painting his nails is just an interesting or strange hobby (my suspicion since it looks like he paints symbols or messages on his nails), that is one thing. If he is having real mental and emotional struggles, really thinks he should be a woman, or is having significant psychological struggles that could affect his focus on his job/career (playing football) and what he does to his body reveals that…then it may be relevant to whether or not he is a draft risk.
If I understand your intent correctly, then I agree that weird idiosyncrasies or personal habits are somewhat par for the course since we are all weirdos to some extent.
