-Is this a rules violation? He doesnāt want to pay someone a shit ton of money for doing essentially nothing. Lamar Jackson didnāt have an agent, he did okay. The rules are fairly simple, he can hire an hourly attorney and have them handle the legal part but he thinks his team can negotiate a good enough contract to wash that 3 percent they donate to an agent, especially because the value of the contract he will sign is essentially predetermined by the NFLPA agreement. Why would you get all emotional about this?

His dad, acting as his DAD when interviewing potential agents last year, INQUIRED WITH POTENTIAL AGENTS about earning equity in an NFL team as part of a contract, similar to what Aaron Rodgers was discussing with the Jets at the time and WHY TF WOULDNāT he? Heās looking out for his sons best interest, uncovering every opportunity, as he should be doing. His dad did NOT ātry to get equity in the club that drafted himā thatās either how you perceived it or the how the clickbait whore you got your info from told you what to think about this topic. There was never any talk of this being a bargaining tool for his rookie contract. He has zero leverage with his rookie contract thanks to the NFLPA, hell it wasnāt even the owners who requested this rookie scale, it was the fukcing genius players. They didnāt want rookies being paid whatever a team felt they deserved to be paid. They wanted to be able to pay other players more so they came up with this rookie scale. I donāt know about you but Iām a big fan of a free market economy, not one that controls what an individual is allowed to make to benefit others (other employees), the rookie salary scale is the antithesis of free market. Free market is Arch Manning making $3.5m last year as a 3rd string college QB who didnt take a single snap. He earned what someone was willing to pay himā¦ free market. The opposite of that is Brock Purdy who was one of the best QBās in his professional sport earned $975ish thousand. You can thank the NFLPA for this masterpiece of pure genius.
His personality if you listen to him speak, is one that is cocky, arrogant, self absorbed, me first attitude with some feminized traits when it comes to his personal style.

Remember when Ryan Leaf and Peyton Manning came out? If you know the story a week or so before the draft the GM of the colts at the Bill Polian said he had to sleep on who he was going to draft. How did that turn out? How about Manziel? How about Tim Couch? How about Jamarus Russell? How about Jamis Winston? All these QB were supposed to be generational talents.
