Can we have a GLP-1 conversation?

WTF is going on? Are celebrities overdosing on it or something? Bc I have friends taking them and they look, well, normal.

Yea i think a lot of celebs take it but then also do the hardcore diets. Go extreme the other way.

It is a danger they tell you when you get put on them.

Yes you need to eat healthier. Ie 1800 HEALTHY calories not pop and fast food.
NOT only 1000 calories.

Thats the issue. Then once you get stuck there its hard to reverse it.

So life is worth living on 1,000 calories per day? I would think not.

Unfortunately for people who struggle with eating disorders, especially those in hollywood that are told they will lose a role to a skinnier pretty woman if they gain wait, unfortunately yea it is.

And then you just surround yourself with sycophants to where nobody will tell you to go eat a ham sandwich?

OTOH, if someone told Mama Cass to not eat that ham sandwich, she would probably still be alive today.

Its almost like anything Hollywood/Popular Culture touches turns into

  1. An overdoing/overdose/overexposure
  2. Train wreck
  3. Divisiveness and Toxicity wrapped in platitudes
  4. A new way to find The Ugly in people.

HUh….maybe focusing on It/Them is the wrong path.

Who is that? Has to be fake.

It’s like Seinfeld shaving his chest hairs. He just couldn’t stop.

As with most drugs, GLP-1 can be abused. Hollywood is tougher than normal because they are judged very highly on their looks and weight. Especially women, who need to be very good actresses or held in high regard to stay active after about 30. Maintaining beauty and thinness is mandatory for most and many will do whatever it takes.

Video about the guaranteed long term impact of taking Ozempic. It’s awful, but no one’s talking about it because there’s no money in telling the truth.

The pharma industry is so messed up. You literally cannot trust doctors because they make money from what they prescribe. Such a broken system.

Hm. I seem to remember her hawking ‘take 2 pills before a meal’ and you’ll lose weight.

Yeah I wouldn’t trust anything that comes out of Jillian Michael’s mouth. She is a Dunning Kruger master class. I know quite a few people on Glp-1 and every single one of them are thrilled with the outcome. The product has been in use for 30+ years. I think the results and longterm effects speak for themselves.

Body dysmorphia is a real thing… A lot of celebrities have mental issues already and shouldn’t be role models or thought leaders in any capacity. These same people would’ve told you a few years ago that Lizzo’s body was beautiful and to say otherwise was a form of violence and hate.

As far as the drug goes, it’s a useful tool, my cousin has dropped from 330 to 245 over the last 6 months. He’s now off a lot of the heart/blood pressure/cholesterol medication, including stains, so it’s a net long term side effect win in my book. Just like amutbjng, you need to use it responsibly

This is mostly untrue.

If a physician runs their own infusion center and directs patients to use that center then there is truth to this and you should be cautious* Doctors do not benefit from anything dispensed outside of that environment

* additionally, to get insurance to pay for these medicines you have to provide significant clinical documentation that it is necessary, and insurance may still require that alternatives be trialed first
