There’s always the game threads

Don’t sell yourself short, you’ve pissed off many posters.
.
I certainly understand the risks you were talking about, but sales could also be made up on volume if it were available to everyone at a decent price.
Yeah… I know very little about GLP-1 and similar medicine, but this has been a very informative thread for me to learn more! Nice work all in keeping a complex topic civil and helpful!
Please excuse the super nasty looking scale from 1993….! But it works and match’s the scales my doctor uses!!
Officially under 170 today….
I schedule a check up every month by choice to be evaluated for any problems.. since jumping dosage from 5 to 7.5mg, I have pretty consistent diarrhea… nothing solid in two weeks so that must be addressed ….
It seems to have improved some but…
Either we stay at 7.5 or maybe drop back 5.0 for a month or two and see if I can get to my goal that way…
Still frim 210… to 207 to this 169.8!
Pretty impressive number on that semen and pube encrusted scale.
Some dried up bubble snots and diarrhea too!

One of the few pre-recovery things I still possess
The OG rhinestones.
Staying at 7.5 for another month but she want me to add probiotics
4-6 weeks ago I gave up Zyn (2.5 3mg cans per day) and monster energy drinks each day. Only really had 1 energy drink per day.
I knew I’d put on a few lbs not chewing and I did. Probably 5 or so from eating to keep mouth busy.
My sleep has improved so much. I rarely felt as rested as I feel now on even the worst nights of sleep.
Now gotta get these extra few lbs off. Enjoyed reading this thread
2.5 tins a day? Holy foq, you had 1-2 pouches in your mouth from morning until night.
I recently found on-the-go dry pouches of Celcius energy drinks at Costco, I think like 30 packets for $18. Obviously way cheaper than buying cans of energy drinks and they seem way easier on my guts. I add a scoop of Creatine to the mix and its a much better wake-me-up than coffee or a Monster.
Yep. Just unable to have a few zyns throughout day. Wasn’t disciplined enough for that.
Feel so much better lately. I do miss nicotine once in a while tho
Yeah, they are almost too convenient.
Update: still on it (Zepbound)
was at 7.5 for two months as my docotor wasn’t comfortable with me slamming thru the monthly increase you can do and the fact I’d lost so much weight so fast..
And I stopped losing weight but stayed between 172-169 the last month of 7.5….
We then upped it from 7.5 to 10 mg and in the last two weeks, I’m now between 164.166 … approximately another fivr pounds dropped
my BMI goal of 24.9, 161 pounds is now in sight!!
Even with the slowing down. I’ve dropped ten pounds in the last six weeks (went in for my regular check up yesterday) …. Crazy
No muscle mass lose!! No major side effect with the exception of slight diarrhea when I change dosages but then it changed to light constipation….
I feel great and with the new grace for ly bad right knee, I can walk for three miles and I’m going try to start jogging again soon!
This Zepbound works as long as you hydrate, double your protein and stay as active as you can…
Maybe a little late to the game, but drug costs are a common challenge facing both parties. It is very feasible to see a new party in charge in 2028 look to price fix this drug class, curtailing the upside.
This is in part why I’m blessed to have it now via Tricare…
Set price for my copay…. 99.00 regardless of concentration….
Hope is to get start decreasing dosages in the next two months!!
I love pouches, but had to give them up. Vasal constrictor plus nicotine raises blood sugar and insulin levels.
Nicotine (whether from smoking, vaping, snus, gum, or tobacco-free pouches like Zyn or Velo) affects glucose metabolism in several ways:Triggers stress hormones (e.g., cortisol and catecholamines), which prompt the liver to release more glucose and reduce how well cells take up and use it.
Promotes insulin resistance — cells become less responsive to insulin, so blood sugar stays elevated. This can happen acutely (within an hour) and worsen with chronic use.
Affects pancreatic function — nicotine can stimulate glucagon release (which raises blood sugar) and impair beta-cell insulin secretion over time.
Recent studies link nicotine pouches and similar smokeless products directly to these effects. For example, research presented at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes found that nicotine pouches raise type 2 diabetes risk similarly to smoking, largely because they deliver comparable nicotine doses without combustion.
Smokeless tobacco/snus users showed 13–19% higher risk for certain diabetes subtypes.
There are some genetc predispositions to being easily addicted to nicotine. Also, I think being exposed early in life, like in the womb or as a small kid, makes one more susceptible.
