Chargers continue Harbaugh HC prep

I wonder what Washington does with the FO?

Will Josh Harris hire a coach first… and then the GM?

I guess the good thing for Harris is that he doesn’t have to trust the process to get a QB of the future…

I met him once toward the end of his playing days. His personality is different, but he’s comfortable in who he is. That personality clashes with AD’s, owners, front office types. One thing he doesn’t have is a long line of former players willing to talk shit about him. They respect him.

He is definitely better suited for college football, and in particular Michigan. Sherrone Moore will make a great HC some day, but I don’t think he has the same ability to direct Michigan in the same way Harbaugh does. Moore would get more push back from the athletic department.

Looks like they went to the Mayhew-Lewand school of salary cap management.

The NCAA definitely wants this Harbaugh/NFL thing to happen.

If he doesn’t go to the NFL, good luck.

The NCAA already hates him, mostly because he’s been vocal about this…IMO

It’s almost like he’s asking them to stick it in dry.

Pat Kirwan cautions anyone taking over a HC or GM job for the Chargers or Jets. He said being a tenant in your own stadium is problematic and hinders your ability to succeed.

With Harbaugh’s first NFL HC stint he took advantage of a team that was well coached and ready to make a run…if they could get production out of the QB position. Jim was able to get that production. I wonder if he will look for a similar setup, or go a different direction.

The Chargers situation makes sense on so many different levels. The team’s talent is solid and many of them are well coached. The QB is incredible, but he hasn’t quite taken the next step to greatness. He also has ties to the owner and team already. He played for the Chargers, he coached for the Chargers AND he even coached a college team in San Diego. And if you want to try to “stop being a tenant” in your own stadium like the Chargers are, getting a big name coach like Harbaugh is a step in that direction.

Harbaugh has been consistent on this issue and I do believe that it plays a role in the NCAA and also how Petitti handled his punishments.

Harbaugh, in that video, mentions that conferences and NCAA could give 5-10% of their revenues back to the Athletes, all athletes not just football, then adds the TV money is going up 17% which means even more money for the conferences/NCAA.

Never trust a NFL guy on what JH wants to do. They’ve been wrong every single year for so long now.

Both of these posts have to be some of the most ridiculous things I’ve read, lmao.
