Someone as connected as Joe will never be done unless he wants to do something else. Someone will always look out for him, even if they have to give him a nebulous title like quality control coach.

This is one of the more impressive things about Dan Campbell. Poor leaders put off hard decisions. Great leaders make hard decisions when it is needed rather than waiting. IF Lombardi was the problem then it was true mid season. It did not just show up in the playoffs. If Staley had made the tough decision mid season maybe the Chargers are still playing.
Wasnt lombardi the guy that the opposition defense was laughing and calling out the playcall before the ball was hiked.
