Didn’t mean to insinuate the latter. I meant more in the sense that they are able to simplify calls and coverages that allow him to keep his focus small. NE is unique in their willingness to use man coverage a lot more than most teams. He’s the kind of guy that is going to excel in man coverage on the outside. And I think in zone they’re only asking him to play deep thirds and quarters, which on the outside can be kept pretty vanilla if you adjust the rules for the underneath responsibilities.
