And the Rockies made Ohtani there bitch yesterday. Gave up 9 hits and 5 earned runs in 4 innings… Haha good for the Rockies

Ohtani took a line drive off the thigh too. He had to leave the game but I haven’t looked yet to see how bad it is.

They gotta end that pitching idea…yes he is a good pitcher but trying to do both is not working.
10 starts, Only 27 innings and a 4.60 era. Plus he has already had 2 tommy john surgeries.
Just let him play left field or dh and focus on hitting 50 homers every year

I think I would try him in the closer role before I completely shut it down though.

The other issue I believe you would lose the DH if he pitches out of the bullpen 
He said he wants to keep pitching. He’ll keep pitching. But I felt he would stop by 2028. Too much risk for the team and probably not as effectuve at that age without a full pitching prep sequence throughout the week.
My boys went to that game at Coors Field. They said there was not an empty seat. Even the bleachers were filled. Bigger crowd than any Rocks game.
