The draft has been a humbling experience for him, but the draft is definitely in territory where a team will take that shot. The league is telling him something he has never really heard in life…you will have to earn this.
If he went higher, someone would have looked past his douchiness. But he’s entering that territory where if nobody thinks he’s anything but a backup, they may not be able to look past that douchiness.

There comes a point where people are no longer looking at the athlete, and instead are looking at the name. That goes on the high end and the low end. Punishing the name seems petty to me. I’m glad he landed his shot. Be humble and go earn it young man.
