He’s definitely got a unique style. So damn low, base always stays under him, seems to have good vision.
What he adds to the passing game on early diwns cannot be understated. He adds a new wrinkle to the offense.

We had a soft RB1 with a clear RB2 and depth/bit players behind them.
I’ve been anticipating them adding an RB1 and retaining their RB2, but this mixes it up a bit. This changes the outlook to where there’s less of an RB1, 2, 3 and 4 with those typical roles, to where it’s now looking much more RBBC.
You will absolutely see David get caught from behind

- half this freaking board was suggesting Swaggy wasn’t worth even 5M a year. I heard a similar story he was wanting 8-10M per with sizable guaranteed.

Yup - HUGE drop in talent when Swift is out. Also, I’m thinking swift won’t be here next year. This is one of our RBs for the next 3 years (2 after Swift). Not gonna be remotely surprised if we get another RB in the draft

The more I think about it the more I think it would be a smart move to take a RB in the 2nd or 3rd round and trade Swift for a 3rd-4th rounder or so. Get a little value for Swift because he’s surely not getting the 2nd contract now and bring in a cheap contract rookie to share carries with Montgomery then take over in a few years if he slows down.
