Beef stew put up good numbers
He always makes me nervous when heās squaring up for those three-pointers, but he shoots them pretty well for a big guy.
I do think itās time for them to make a move like this. They need another dude who can consistently get his own bucket. Ivey is good, but heās not yet been the guy who can do that consistently at an elite NBA level like Cade. We need a 1B to Cade, and I donāt know if Ivey can be that guy. Especially after the injuries.
The other young guys have a low likelihood of becoming that type of player on the offensive end. The defensive upside is off the charts with the whole team, but they need guys who can score.
Holland was on fire last night. He probably goes if there is a deal for a 1B.
Maybe Ron Holland or the Thompson twin can fill that role in another year or two. Defenses are really collapsing on Cade, every time he has the ball. It would be hard for him to continue carrying the whole load without breaking down at some point during the season.
I worry about Cade a little if we get a Giannis etx. He is still a volume, inefficient scorer with brick-tastic tendencies. Guys like that who dont dominate the touches/shots lose their shine a bit.
Can he be Paul George, healthy version? Maybe. Maybe not. If he had quicks, heād already be Penny Hardaway.
All right, Pistons get their first win in Houston. Had to fight through some foul troubles. Stewart and Holland fouled out, and I didnāt see it but I guess Duren got a flagrant 2 and was out as well.
Good win on the road. Next up back home against the Celtics.
is alot better than ausar.
Duncan Robinson played better. Paul Reed was clutch filling in for Duran. Beef Stew still commits too many fouls and Cade still turns the ball over too much.
Nice come from behind win but there is a lot of clean up.
if we have anyone that can develop into a 1B, its Holland. Heās prob my only untouchable. We donāt need another Middleton mistake.
He did. Good news. Still donāt like him. At. All.
Probably be fine though. Iāmjust old and grumpy about not seeing a Detroit Sports Championship in 17 yearsā¦.and only one Finals appearance, the Tigers I went to in 2012.
Or Bowen Blunder. Or Pope poopfest. Or Stanley shitshow. Or Killian Kludge. Or Bey bye-bye.
Was pretty rough in thr backcourt for a decade
You mean you didnāt like Killian Hayes? ![]()

. What a piece of shit player he was. I canāt remember a worse shooting guard in my lifetime. He would also do two or three things every game that were just so bizarre in their frequency. Like it was almost a given he would bounce at least one ball off his foot and out of bounds every game. Iām willing to bet he averaged 4 to 5 unforced turnovers per game.
My Sunday morning was going good, and then Iām reminded of Killian Hayes. Thanks. Damn he was awful.
BIG win V. the Rockets in Houston. Durantās team now.
Robinson is going to be fine. Cade is a BEAST, even when not at his best. Tobias is steady. Jalen is very solid (when not thrown out!) and when Ivey gets back the league will see a quality team.
Killian is always the one that just kills me. Haliburton was sitting right there. And Troy Weaver pulls his best smahtest man in the room move ever. Heās one of the few draft picks by Detroit brass that turned my stomach (at the time of the pick). Later on, many other regrets, but few that had me throw my shoe at the TV.
Along with Levi. Terry Fair. Brandon Knight. off the top of my head.
It really is disgusting. Haliburton is a two time All-Star, got his team to two Eastern conference finals, and the finals in the last two years. The Pacers might have won it all had he not blown out his knee in game seven. Lady luck can be a cruel B. Meanwhile, Killian has to take his gum out of his mouth before he dribbles the ball off his foot.
It should have been a felony to take Terry Fair while Randy Moss is sitting right there as a gift from the football gods. I mean it, Bobby Ross shouldāve done some time or at least had his ass kicked. Who knows, Barry might even have played longer with that level of talent running go routes.
Ausur Thompson has made huge strides this year. Heās stronger than he was last year. He along with Cade and Duren are a great nucleus. Excited to see what happens when Ivey gets back.
Cade, Duren, Ivey, and Thompson make for a great young nucleus.
