Detroit vs Everybody

Keep it coming, America. This is exactly the type of shit Dan had on in the locker room ALL DAY before the Packers game last year.

We need to litterally crush the Rams! Eff these media turncoats!

Even Dan? That’s sad.

I am not sure which morning show it is that I am watching now (Saturday on NFL Network). Its 3 panel members. 2 out of 3 picked the Rams. This is the best thing we could have hoped for!

More faith in Stafford than Goff.

And the players will be watching all weekend long. All the pre-games, all the halftime shows etc. They’ll see this stuff even if not by Dan.

Dan O. loves Stafford.

Amon Ra St.Brown said they like being considered underdogs.

And you know he wasn’t just saying it, because it was to his brother on the pod.

That’s where our team has clearly been at their best.

To quote Dan Campbell, “I like our guys”

It’s not just the fans and the city trying to figure out how to adjust to being winners. It’s the team too. They’re not used to hearing about how pretty they are.

I didn’t watch the segment, but from the still shot of each reaction, it looks like each person is shocked at the displayed picks.

Marcus: “Ohhhhh”

Dan: “wait a minute!”

Laura: “that’s not my pick!”

Ryan: WTF is that?!"

Mina: “AGGHHHHHHH!”

They all picked the Rams, then they were shocked that nobody picked the Lions. And then some of them wanted to change to the Lions :joy:

Oralsky pick is automatic

Orlovsky would sooner take a cheese grater to his own chode rather than pick against Stafford.

I do think the last two games against a Mullens lead Minny and the Dallas game where opposing WR’s were running free and our secondary was the proverbial hallway in which hotdogs get thrown, has skewed alot of people’s picks for this game. Stafford is better than Mullens and Dak, and Kupp and Nacua are arguably just as good a tandem as any in the league.

I’m not shocked. He would have Stafford’s baby if he could. Well, he’d be #2 in line after @Nate

I don’t think I’ve ever inhabited this emotional space with the Lions before. I’m calm and not at all nervous about the magnitude of this game for the franchise. So much will be divined from the results of this game, Lions vindication if they win and the Footprint of Fate if they don’t. To be clear, I definitely want and expect a win, though I think it’s pretty much like a favorable coin flip at poker between a small pair and AK. Some might say I’m protecting myself from hurt and disappointment if they lose, but at the moment I think it will feel like an abrupt end to a really good book.

I can pretty much guarantee I’ll scream at the TV a few times though…
