Does Harbaugh coach in the NFL next season?

Once upon a time a coach everyone hated Bill Belichick then he won 6 super bowls…maybe 7.

I like where this is headed for Michigan and Harbaugh.

It should be rephrased as “Minny was the only team that gave him an interview”. It wasn’t the only team he reached out to. He was sending out feelers like an InDeed profile.

That’s not a big job

Yet Chicago is?

Chicago isn’t an antonym for big.

Doesn’t it all rest with the NCAA, or whoever is running the circus.

I would assume that one just doesn’t go to the head coach immediately after getting hired and say “hey i have this great way to cheat”.

And if it had such poor returns on investment, where teams could just change everthing on the fly, why do it in the first place.

Curious as to why the offense has changed in such a dramatic way you’d have to wonder if the QB knows how to read a defense now that the gig is up.

People always bring up Harbaugh’s ability to coexist with the current NFL player. I guess in a way any old school coach has an issue some times with a pro athlete. On the other hand Jim Harbaugh is a different coach today than when he arrived in Ann Arbor. His players love him. If we have seen anything the past few weeks, it is that.

I think the bigger issue is Harbaugh’s ability to get along with ownership and a front office. That’s where he eventually wears people down wherever he goes. He has a vision of what he wants to do, and he doesn’t understand why others don’t see it as well. So it would take the right ownership to handle that and the right player personnel around him moving in the same direction. If that situation does present itself he would compete for championships. He has already proved his ability to do that at the NFL level.

All that said I agree with those who say they wouldn’t be surprised either way. As a Michigan fan I’m completely fine with either decision he makes. In my mind he’s already accomplished what most Michigan fans were hoping for, he made Michigan relevant again. As long as they don’t screw up the transition a second time, I’d be happy for him if he chose to take another shot at his dream to win a Super Bowl.

People that are student “assistants/volunteers” don’t just randomly get hired into full time capacities

The offense has changed because the OT can’t block any guys that can rush with speed.
