The Joker with the NBA’s first 30, 20, 20 triple double in history. That guy is unreal.
I was actually thinking about this the other day…
No way SGA develops like he did under Dwane Casey and Monty Williams in Detroit.
We also very likely wouldn’t have gotten the Cade pick in the first place had we drafted Haliburton.
Correct me if I’m wrong here but If we had drafted Haliburton, we probably wouldn’t have been bad enough to have gotten the #1 overall pick to get Cade, correct?..so we couldn’t have gotten Haliburton and traded the #1 overall pick for SGA and the #6 pick.
Correct

He HATES the Pistons hahaha

Correct
Nah.
Haliburton took a minute (like three seasons) to develop into an all star.
His rookie year he averaged 13-5-3. Hardly enough to make a difference back then. We would still have been pretty bad. Of course, it takes a little luck to pick first.
I did assume that, after getting SGA, Wagner, and Haliburton etc that we would not have been bad enough to get Ivey and/or Ausar. But still, we would have been a filthy team if we took that trade.
Shaq, Malone, Kobe, Payton lose to …Billups, Hamilton, Wallace? HAhahaha, and it wasn’t even close!
Won tonight. If pacers hold on tied for 4 seed?
Seems weird so say that the Pistons are the only team that’s bringing me any sport joy right now.
Michigan Mens BB has been exposed as paper tigers
Red Wings are toast
Looking forward to the Tigers playing games that count. Looked at their opening series and saw that it was @ Dodgers.,Yikes. But we’ll be throwing Skubal and probably Flaherty at them, so who knows.
Yes, they are actually fun to watch for the first time in ages.
Once Ivey went down, this team transformed into the second coming of the ‘going to work’ Pistons of the naughts. Not saying Ivey was bad for the team but sometimes spreading the minutes to fewer players makes them all do better.
Great to see some toughness in the NBA finally. Shr€›der has definitely helped too.
Is Hardaway playing any D at all? Ivey is a huge upgrade on THJ talent wise.
Beasley needs to come back and they still need to upgrade Harris, long term
I would unironically not be upset if we gave Malik Beasley a max contract. Even though it would be absolutely terrible for business, that’s how bad I want to keep him in Detroit.
Max would be tough, but he is the real difference maker. I haven’t seen a better three point shooter up close, except for Steph.
I mean, I wouldn’t expect us to give our 6th man a max contract in a million years. I’m just saying if that’s actually what it took to keep him, I wouldn’t be upset.
Agreed. Extending Beasley and Duren are the two biggest off season moves we need to make. Not going to be cheap.
Wow the stones lost to Washington . Never saw that coming
Me neither…cost me a $60 win on a 9 legger.
This was one that I saw coming, because of the way the first game went. Washington was angry. But we did not play well, Cade isn’t going 0-7 from three very often.

I lost a little over $100 on that game last night. Very poor effort by our pistons. And Washington was shooting lights out so I have to give them some credit. Plus, we blew them out just the other night and you could definitely see a renewed sense of energy from them. Now OKC comes in and that’s going to be a tough one. But maybe they’ll surprise us like they did against Boston.
It’s probably worth mentioning that the Pistons won by 46 points last night…
